Expensive and snooty. Just bought a house in the neighbourhood, first time there and got stink eye from the cashier. Had mistakes made on my bill. Not a great selection. Co-op is so much better for service and Superstore for things Co-op doesn't have. It would be better to go to Winnepeg once per month and do a big shop rather than shop here.

Grabbed a tasty looking wrap and some soup. The soup was great. The wrap was disgusting. For God sake, buy a salad spinner. The wet lettuce ruined it , I could put my fingers through the wrap. And the crispy chicken was now far from that.

Don’t come here in a hurry, they never have enough tills open, you’re lucky if there’s 2-3. Then they make a big deal about having to call someone to come run another one when it gets busy.The staff is usually alright-ish, except the one lady with the ponytail and glasses that usually pushes carts. She has a very bad attitude and is usually scowling at you.

We came to shop for last minute holiday ingredients.. never had any issues or concerns in previous visits to the store until today.. my wife has a cast on for a broken ankle. We used the motorized handi cart today with no issues until it was time to get my wife outside into the vehicle. one of the staff members made great deal that we were not allowed to take the cart outside .. However that's how we got her into the store in the first place and we had done this 2 days prior with no issues or involvement from any staff.. today Safeway made us feel like we did something wrong. Hope no one else is made to feel this way.
