“So, this happened …

I was headed from Regina to Winnipeg on a business trip in early December. I have an older RAV4 that has been ridiculously reliable, extremely low maintenance, and relatively inexpensive to operate.
About 100km into my trip a thump sound developed in the rear - weird, but I wasn’t worried as it the noise wasn’t too alarming. Well, that changed. The thumping slowly increased in intensity and I realized I needed to have this looked at, but where?

Brandon was the closest major center, so I instinctively drove to Canadian Tire and explained my predicament to the guys behind the service counter. Unimpressed, they told me they MIGHT be able to look at the vehicle later afternoon the NEXT DAY! Uh … okay?!

So I left, sat in the RAV and googled emergency service shops in Brandon. A few popped up, but the one that caught my eye was SouthEnd Service, and it was literally a block away, so I drove over expecting the same kind of response I’d received at Canadian Tire, and preparing to stay a crappy night in Brandon (no offence, Brandon)

Nope.
Not even close.
The guys at SouthEnd were polite, professional, understood my situation and within minutes of walking in the front door with my sad story they were already assessing my vehicle. It was sorta strange;
I have never had that level of service from an automotive shop EVER.

Rylan and Walter Jr. were absolute rockstars. Their level of attention and urgency made my crappy day much, much better. I was back on the road in no time, and at an extremely fair price! I don’t know what else to say, except that whomever owns SES, you need to recognize how good these guys are and do anything in your power to keep them. If I ran an automotive business I would be headhunting them, for sure. A business is the people, Rylan and Walter are good, solid people, and Southend Service did everything right!”
