SAVE $$$ take photos of prices!!
EG Nov30,2024 3:34pm I photographed TP 30 rolls @404 sheets per roll at $19.47.
Minutes later I noticed 2 guys in TP aisle changing the price which is not uncommon there and at SS DURING business hours when many carts have the $19.47 TP etc. in them.
At 14:07 I went thru a till with the sorriest excuse for a rude empolyee I have ever seen---since the last one. Yes Walmart I have my receipt showing rude employee #, like you care.
Anyway, while checking receipt I see I paid $20.94!!!!
Off to "customer service" where the REALLY rude employees exist where I retrieved my $1.64 on my credit card and as always that employee just steps away without so much as a sorry from Walmart but more a phku.
If we had a descent govt they would have a dept that noticed things businesses with a '1' rating are doing to cheat Canadians but I have met them in Brandon and their service is on par with Walmart!!!!
Check your till tapes and don't expect anything free when they have a higher price in their computer than on the shelf. Here are 2 examples of many:
1)Spagetti sauce from island display in aisle; 2/$4. They charged $6. I went to 'SERVICE' desk (lol there) and they said not free because it was in aisle (it was on shelves too). They gave me $2 and no doubt kept charging $6. The aisle crap was just that I found out. SHE LIED!!!
2)2 pies for $10. I paid $6.98 ea which is price if you buy only 1 but I had TWO!! They were taking people for $3.96 per 2 pies. I asked for free pies. Woman laughed at me and threw $3.95 in change in front of me and yelled NEXT!!
I'd have bet anybody $20. that if I grabbed pies 3 and 4 they'd have been $13.96, NOT $10.
Make that 'MISTAKE' in every Walmart 250,000 times and they have a million dollars.
i have many more. Check the tape at Walmart!
SuperStore just charged me and those before me $10.99 for fish marked $7.99. I got it FREE as per MB govt regulations not followed by low IQ employees relegated to 'customer service'. Minimum wage thieves!
Update to check the tapes!!! Pies @ $7.47 on sale $4.20; I grabbed 2. I saw she charged me $14.94 so I asked that she scan the $4.20 sale tag. She was not happy, started again and my new total for everything seemed $1. too high (Out of boredom and to exercise this old brain I always add everything while in line and yes I can price a banana within 2 cents). I paid and then CHECKED THEIR RECEIPT and I was right again. She pushed the taxable button and added $1.01. Why is beyond me; but I got my $$ back in under 10 minutes with no apology from anyone, just like SS!!
Why do I shop at these stores? The alternative is starvation.
PS after buying Great Value beets from Poland and trying them I found they are maybe 1/4 cooked..garbage. The beet/Walmart website will not allow more reviews saying just that!
Oct 2,24 another FREE butter for me while 100's of 1000s pay 64 cents more than shelf price. Shelf $4.94, till $5.68. I go to service and get it FREE.
3ed time this year! Why doesn't govt charge them with grand theft

Gross an employee walked out of the toilet stall and didn't wash his hands went right to the food section I told the store. Check your receipt some items are more expensive then what is on the sticker and also sometimes way cheaper then marked.

Yesterday was the worst experience I've ever had in a Walmart. The cashier would not stop trying to get me to sign up for a credit card, to the point of harassment. Please stop making your cashiers embarrass themselves!!

Staff in self checkout were rude. Trying to push for 5 star review over my shoulder. Personal hygiene is below par for some of the workers.

This walmart location among many others I have visited has DRAMATICALLY gone down hill.
First, the cost of goods vs. Quality is insane. Rotting produce, expired meats and dairy, leaking containers and busted cartons of eggs. Trampled on clothing and broken household goods. All whilst being sold at ridiculous prices.
The cleanliness of the store is the next big problem. Constantly see garbage and dirt a filth everywhere. Filthy and disgusting bathrooms that reek of urine and feces and often no soap in dispensers. The toilets look like the get cleaned once a month.
Customer service is probably one of the absolute worst. With the over taking of foreign and immigrants workers, language barriers have become a significant problem. I find many of the new staff to be extremely ignorant and disrespectful, if not blatantly rude. Several times I've had staff now come and try to pressure a 5 star rating at self checkout like they have done anything to deserve it, I got my goods, I checked myself out, you stood there and ignored me and just kept an eye out to make sure no one steals, no you don't deserve 5 stars. Another instance of being rammed by there little shoppers going around, no sorry, no excuse me, no checking if I'm OK, just a nasty glare and murmured comments as he raced off.
If Brandon had more shopping options I wouldn't even think twice about shopping elsewhere. Unfortunately I shop there out of necessity, but they hardly deserve the business or respect.

Small, slender, dark haired staff member in self checkout area came up to the checkout I was using. She barged in past my cart, invaded my personal space and was practically touching me, which I do NOT appreciate. She also put me on the spot asking how my visit was. Because she startled me and I was kind of scared of what she would do, I said it was good. Without hesitation this woman proceeds to put a five star rating into the self checkout and does not allow me to do it myself or have any say. I was not having any difficulty with the machine, and she did not have to do that. If I had a say, I would have given three stars, not five, because I didn't quite find everything I wanted.
Please tell that woman to respect the personal space of customers and to not barge into peoples' business, or remove her from the self checkout area entirely. I am Autistic. I am extremely socially anxious. I was already in sensory overload from how busy the store was. I do NOT like strangers touching me or getting that close to me, and she made me feel very claustrophobic and trapped.
If I have to deal with her coming that close to me a second time, it will be the last time I come to Wal-Mart.

Food is great. I have issues with the cashier's and customer service staff. They scan the same items TWICE or even THREE times and get annoyed when you point it out to them. Recently I had an issue where they added a $5 item that I did not put in my cart to try to scam me. When I brought this to customer service the young women seemed annoyed to help. In the end we got it sorted out but the customer service staff were very rude blaming us the customers.

Very disappointing that even though the pharmacy is closed the store doesn’t have access to over the country products. I don’t see why the cosmetics counter can’t assist with this section after 5pm. Very disappointing to see 6-8 employees standing at self checkouts WATCHING people for stealing but they can’t help people get essential items . Very disappointing. I went in there to grab a bunch of items and ended up leaving and going to superstore when I can get everything I need all at once….

Store manager assistant tall white man ugly beard. The second time he has tried to start a fight with me inside the store. Over nothing. I asked the front desk if they could say anything wrong with what I was doing there was nothing wrong at all. Not sure if he has a mental deficiencies if so I'm sorry but their people skills are far and few between.
