Gareth, the owner, is truly exceptional. His warm and welcoming demeanor shines through, and he maintains the property meticulously. The campsites offer picturesque views of the lake and boast well-maintained grassy areas. The cleanliness of the bathrooms adds to the positive experience.Comparatively, our prior stop at Cooks campground left us dealing with muddy grounds, cramped spaces, and an unfriendly owner.Our decision to drive on to Hobbs proved to be a game-changer, and a great way to end our trip of Manitoba.

Amazing place, stopped there on my way to Wekusko/Paint Lake and on my return trip. Both one nighters. First night I was at site 27, very private and big and my return was by the lake. Quiet site, very nice clean bathroom, free shower, Gareth and his family are so very nice. I normally go to Provincial Park but this private campground was very nice, even met amazing seasonal campers that invited me to their site for a fire!! The cellphone was spotty for me but I did not care, the lake was so clear, lots of cormorants, pélicans, loons and so on, it was so enjoyable to kayak. It is close to Little Limestone lake, so went there and return (like 30min ish one way).

Had a great weekend here for the first time. Very easy to contact at any time of day, camp was very clean and pretty quiet, each site has a table and garbage, huge sites with water/electric available, very family friendly, great view from our lot, the shoreline is very unique and gorgeous and kept the kids busy. I do wish I knew how rocky the waterfront sites were though, so I could bring extra padding for our tent.Plan on coming again. Thanks for everything :)

Fantastic campsite. The host Garreth was great to deal with. Sites are beautiful, lots of trees, and huge fire pits! Some sites are right on the lake and it's very quiet. I'd make a detour to camp here again.

I've been to Hobbs many times. Great improvements have been made since first going. First class fishing and the owners are great. Highly recommended this place if you love fishing.

Nous sommes arrêtées y camper 2 soirs. Endroit très tranquille pour la période de l'année. Campé sur le bord du lac, très belle vue. Avons observé plusieurs variétés d'oiseaux. Très belle place.

Beautiful cabins, clean and spacious. Experienced some incredible ice fishing for trout and walleye. Lloyd was very accommodating and friendly during our winter trip. Will be back again!
