“The new building is very nice. The owner is friendly, hands-on, personable, & he has recently enlarged the grocery section to include a small area of the store with seating where you can order from a small ready-made menu of kept warm items along with beverages, (coffee, tea, etc.) so the customer can socialize and relax in a small cozy atmosphere.
Very nice!! He also has free wi-fi for his customers. He always tries to sell his gas at least a cent cheaper than his competition.
5 years ago Marchand grocery store was the age-old country store/post office that we all remember. This is the New Marchand Grocery. The post office is still in the small strip-mall type of a building Rob has built. (Rob is the owner's name) Its independent of the store now, with separate hours.”
