We have been here a few times and we're never disappointed with the food except for today. I ordered the eggs Benny and I received rock hard (boiled eggs) rather than perfectly poached eggs. I have never received rock hard yolks with poached eggs before as the essences of a poached egg is the firm white and the silky running yolks. I think that they need to remove this item from the menu until they learn what a poached egg is and how to prepare them. Very disappointing.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. If you're passing by, it's definitely worth the stop. Great menu, awesome service. We did not stay at the Inn, so I can't comment on that.

Worst meal we’ve ever had. Overcooked fish, inedible veg (corn), mediocre fries. Cocktail made with pickle juice. Lesson learned…..never going back.

Food has been better previous times, the taco salad my mom got had no taco seasoning on the chicken, and the Caesar salad I had was terrible. Way too much dressing and red onions made the salad feel odd, it was very odd all around. Left dissatisfied this time.
Btw, if you want a really good Caesar salad that has gotten rave reviews from many people, try a dressing of: 1 cup canola oil, 1 egg, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 3 tsp of garlic, 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 tsp black ground pepper, and 1/4tsp salt. Immersion blend without stopping until it’s fully incorporated, and using a tall skinny container works best, or if you want a less thick dressing, use a hand mixer and bowl. You can also sub Worcestershire for a small amount of soy sauce and mustard in it. Use a small scoop of dressing, just enough to lightly coat, and toss with bacon bits, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. (Recipe is my own, don’t where it originated from but probably from my grandma nina)
