Trappers was open on Canada Day and let us grab ice cream just after they closed, haven’t been to the bar but the store is solid and have live bait.

I used to come all the time for the convenience of reasonably priced propane refills. They got rid of their refill station for a cylinder exchange. Not only do they want $34 for an exchange, they won't take tanks older than 6 years despite the 10 year certification.
Their milkshakes also suck. They taste like nesquik and milk.

The food was not great. Perogies were undercooked, and the chocolate milkshake tasted like the ice-cream had freezer burn. Two people for $48 with a tip. Not good value, but I'll try them again.

Do not eat here
Food is garbage.. we ordered a pep and mushroom pizza and a poutine..
Poutine was the worst poutine ive ever had, awful cheese and watery gravy with no flavours.. awful fries too
The pizza was also the worst pizza ive ever eaten.. crust was burnt and tasted like cardboard, the sauce was just tomato sauce, the cheese was disguisting, the pepperoni was brown and freezer burnt, and tasted foul. The best part were the wet soggy canned mushrooms on top.
Oh and it was EXTREMELY over priced.. plan to eat in lac du bonnet and avoid eating here

DO NOT GET GAS HERE! I topped off my tank on my way to Nopiming and pumped 30 litres of water into it. My car bogged down right after leaving the station and died completely 1/2 mile down the road. The locals know the gas is garbage at this place but there is no reviews of it. Apparently I was the second person who pumped there today and second one stranded. Cost me $500 to tow back to Winnipeg and all night to pump the tank. We removed 30 litres of white water from my gas tank. See the attached photo of a sample he pumped out. Small amount of Gas is floating on the top. I suspect them of having a leaking tank and with the warm weather ground water got in.

No prices on any of the items in store. However they have everything you need while out at the lake. Great service and very helpful in a pinch

Cute little place to eat in the winter after or in a middle of a sled ride. Very accommodating for sledders to park and put our gear while we eat. Food is limited, however what they have is well executed. They do serve ice cream in the summer and you can order in advance online for take out. Glad to have this whole in the wall.

I find this establishment appalling. They sell stale buns at twice the price. Cereal boxes taped up and abused. They won't allow a disabled female to use the indoor washroom facilities. Instead they expect us to use a disgusting outhouse that is filthy with urine all over it. They dont even keep things clean. The people that work there have absolutely no personality. I would not recommend this establishment even to my worst enemy. The health board needs to look into this.
