I had a cabin on site 50 from 2020 to 2024. The cabin was sold from it's original builder in 2019 to a man named Jim, and then to me in 2020.
The Chesley's ownders have it in their terns that your place must be inspected by them in order to sell your site to see if you fit their standards. What they don't tell is what those standards are, and that they make them up when they are inspecting your property. An if
they decide you don't pass, the will either try to force you to pay to have your own property torn down, or you will be forced to abandon it.
I have emails that detail all of this if anyone should want to read it.
It was my experience that the owners seem to pick and choose who they respect. Now don't get me wrong, the people who camp there are lovely, and the work the people that camp there do to make the place a community is great. Just be wary of who you are getting into bed with, and what you may end up sacrificing for the experience.
I lost 20000 for the experience. I hope it goes better for you.
They also took2 years to build the new bathrooms, but offered no compensation for the lack of facilities.

This our first summer out here and we have absolutely loved it. The community is amazing and everyone is so friendly. The park itself is kept beautifully and clean. Great place to be and enjoy all the fun events!

Chesney's Resort is a great seasonal Campground with lots of activities throughout the summer and on Long weekends. The fishing from Shore and on the creek with easy access to the Red River is also very good.

The campground is nice and clean, the washrooms are new and clean and tge boat launch is great.

Very clean campground. Friendly staff and site owners. Wonderful store and restaurant. Beautiful beach area. Boat launch are too.Playground: Newer playground well kept.Restrooms: New restrooms installed, clean, and handicap washrooms, too.Dog-friendliness: Pets are welcome, leashed.Picnic area: The picnic area is in the open, but there is an area that has a covered space.

Always so wonderful to visit my parents at their site here. Great vibes.Restrooms: New rest rooms were very clean. Good size.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on leash, which is nice to keep everyone safe. My pup loves it out here.

Went to the restaurant there, and had the spring rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was home-made, and the peanut sauce is spectacular. Ended up getting 2 large containers to take home with me. Staff is wonderful! Recommend.
