At first, I was hesitant about a FOUR day clinic. I didn't think my brain could handle it so I just booked for two days. But, each day was so interesting and easy to comprehend that I continued to go back. I was very impressed with the amount of research these ladies put into this work, the amount of cadavers on display with various conditions, and the ability to work on cadavers ourselves. Combining both presentation and group work really balanced things and we could all learn from each other. Their manuals are superb too - a new manual for each day! All in all, I learned a lot and I found their system makes a lot of logical sense for the horse and the human - and less work than conventional six
or more week trims. I highly recommend committing to the full four day course. You and your horse(s) won't regret it!

Extremely informative! So much effort, love and passion was put into creating this course and I’m so happy I decided to do it. I had no confidence in my ability to trim my own horses and by the end of the course I left feeling like I could. I also gained so much more knowledge about the hoof and its connection to all other parts of the body. I am looking forward to attending the course again and again every time the Hoof Geeks are on the Island. Thank you so much ladies for the bravery, confidence, perseverance and passion you have for teaching this topic. You are an absolute blessing to horses!!

I have attended two of The Hoof Geeks clinics- one at Francine’s and the other I hosted at my farm near Russell, MB. The breadth and depth of information provided at these clinics is incredible to begin with and then the hands on training with cadavers and then your own horse(s) makes for a perfect knowledge gathering event for all horse owners. Since the first clinic 6 years ago I have been trimming and maintaining my own horses feet (I have 4). I have the knowledge and backup help from Hoof Geeks to provide the best barefoot care for my herd. With a herd of 4 horses I save well over $2000 per year in farrier cost plus if one gets a chipped hoof etc. I can deal with it right away versus waiting for the next farrier visit. I often get comments on how great my horses feet look. For horse owners that don’t want to maintain their own herds feet the knowledge is still invaluable as you now understand what your farrier is doing and you can ask educated questions. Highly recommend these clinics. They are great value for what you learn and take home in the books provided.

So much knowledge they have shared with so many horse owners across Canada! And the continuing education they do is so valuable! This photo is just a few of the horse owners that are seeking knowledge who attended the conference in Regina !

The information and knowledge we gained after taking the course was extremely helpful. We both feel that our trimming will be more accurate going forward and it has given us both better confidence. I especially appreciated the information on nutrition as well. Thanks again for this course it was well worth it

Glad I found Hoof Geeks. Responsive honest service. I couldn’t be more happier with my new hoof stand and it didn’t cost me my arm and leg. Light yet sturdy. Love the pin design over the screw as I know this won’t slip when my lovey 3 year old stands on it. Will definitely be keeping Hoof Geeks in mind for future supplies.
