It was a nice organized beach where people get all types of relaxing facilities. You are getting the chance to live in nature and it will definitely make you recharge.Picnic area: I have seen lots of people roaming here and there and passing whole day with great fun.

St Malo Provicial Park - ManitobaOverall good experience during our visit in September 2023.Pros:-2 seperate very clean beaches-4 playgrounds located throughout the park, a little dated but functional-decent sized calm lake good for canoeing (no gas powered motors allowed on the lake)-numerous sites most of them private-small store and firewood available on site-modern rager station-adjacent to a small town and off a major paved highway-only about an hour south of winnipeg-well kept park-modern showers available (coin operated)-mini golf in park-modern washrooms throughout park-no wildlife concerns-water and dump stations readily accessibleCons--Very busy during weekends-busier than most provincial parks during the week-some washrooms are dated and some showers are awkwardly open and accessible to all inside washrooms (just a curtain no door/lock)-minimal hiking trails-washrooms, showera and some outhouse are becoming date but still fully functionalOverall recommened visit.Playground: Multiple playgrounds located on/near the the beaches- a little dated but functional.Restrooms: Modern style washrooms located in the park. A little dated but functional. Outhouse also readily available throughout park.Picnic area: Abdundant picnic tables and sitting areas near beaches.

Great beach. Flush toilets and picnic benches. Very good location for canoeing and kayaking on the lake. There's spots to launch and a big culture of conoeing and paddleboarding.

This place is a great location to get away from the city, without having to travel very far. Not but a 45-minute drive from WinnipegPlayground: Multiple playgrounds around the parkRestrooms: Restrooms are older but cleanDog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome here, just not on the beachPicnic area: Lots of picnic tables around

Camping area is spacious with adequate facilities. The location is not too far away from city, making it a good choice for picnic and camping.

Honestly it's one of the best lakes in Manitoba, especially if you are with kids. The lake is not too big, the beach is clean, and there are lots of playgrounds, changing room, bathrooms, life jackets rental, and BBQ facilities. Food truck sells huge ice cream (the one in the photo is ONE SCOOP) and gelatos and some snacks. Staff are so friendly too. I go there every summer and never had bad experience.

Our first time here. Although I can say the park itself is beautiful and the sites are great, I’m disappointed in everything else. The bathrooms are so outdated and didn’t feel clean to me. The same with the showers. I don’t mind paying but you can’t control the water temperature and it was burning hot both times I went. I would not put a child under it. Plus I saw a bunch of spider eggs up in the corner. When they hatch someone could get a huge surprise! Me, I’d be traumatized!!!And everything was closed unfortunately due to having no one to work. Was looking forward to paddle boat, mini golf and ice cream and couldn’t do/get any of that! So sad that there are no workers! Not the experience I was expecting. On a positive note it was well patrolled by park patrol. The beach looked nice but didn’t even go swimming.
