Huge store. Lots of staff. No crowds when you get there an hour before closing. Had lots of product for what I was looking for. A large 110 liter camo duffle bag. Just one available in Winnipeg. But six available in selkirk. They must know their demographic.

Love the sales and fun to explore. Only downside: I spend too much time looking around! :)

I'd give five starts if it wasn't for one of the employees. I've been a loyal customer to this store for the last 4 years. I've never had an issue up until Aug 23. I walked into the store and was greeted by several employees who all had smiles on their faces, said Hello, Good morning, etc. I spoke to an employee as I needed help with a product but, unfortunately, the product I needed wasn't in stock. I then headed over to the automotive department to use the bathroom and when I came out, I was suddenly approach by some lady who seemed to be in her late 40's early 50's. Was was extremely rude and spoke to me in a condescending manner. I have several severe medical conditions that require me to carry a bag with all my medical supplies and medications. Up until this day, I've had no issues. I buy all my garden supplies, flowers, etc, as well as many of my friends and family do. The employee told me that bags are not allowed in the store in a very rude tone, I then explained to her that my bag has to be with me at all times due to my medical conditions and have to have it with me at all times. She then gave me more attitude and literally tried to force me to take my bag off and I said no. She then tells me that she's going to escort me out. I turned to her, asked to see the policy, she didn't show me the policy instead, got more snippy with me. She had no name tag on and claimed she was the manager when I stated I will be speaking with the manager. She would speak louder whenever another customer would walk by so, I said to her that she's the most unprofessional so-called manager I've ever dealt with and that I am not returning to this store after this. She then says straight to my face "Good! Don't come back here ever again, you're not welcomed here." At this point, I am absolutely appalled by her attitude. I then said back to her, "Okay, great! Let's start now why don't we!" I took my items out of the shopping cart, handed it to her and then left. I am on chemo and have been through enough, I don't need some random person doing this to me or anyone. It is absolutely uncalled for. I have reached out to head office already and have made this whole situation public on social media. How am I supposed to know if she really is the manager? No name tag. If I was to have a medical emergency and I cannot access my medications immediately, who am I suing? The store? Cause I know I can sue the employee personally and the store. If she had approached me and spoken to me in a much more professional and respectful manner, this would've ended much more different. As I've stated before, I've never had a problem with this location before. I go to all sorts of places, stores, etc, and my bag has never been an issue. They claim it's because of theft, well, sorry but if someone is gonna steal something, they're gonna do it, with or without a bag. I've worked in retail and I have seen it with my own eyes. Walmart, Dollarama, Superstore all have higher theft rates and they've never given me an issue. I thought that's why they have all them gates around the doors and sensors, I thought that's supposed to help combat theft? People could easily just slip things into pockets of a big jacket, sweater, etc. As far as I am concerned, that lady needs to find a new job and not work here if she's going to be ignorant, rude, and condescending. I even asked if she'd like to check my bag and she refused! I am not obligated to disclose medical information or anything and this shouldn't be happening. I really hope the store owners find a new employee and correct this so-called policy.

Another typical CT. Overall I'm not a fan of CT but this one isn't to bad. Seems to have a good selection and stock of everything.
