I don’t often write reviews. I felt I needed to let everyone know about Laura Tolpa at Selkirk GMC.
The stress that comes with purchasing a vehicle can be overwhelming.
The time and knowledge that Laura gave me, allowing me to make my decision in purchasing my new vehicle was such a positive experience. She checks on me and my new car and insures me that if I have any questions, she’ll be there for me. She’s proven that already to me!! Please, see

I recently purchased a truck from this location, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we felt a lack of care from the sales team. Basic customer service was missing—no business cards, no documentation after placing a deposit, and our sales rep didn’t even take the time to learn our names.
Despite these red flags, we decided to proceed with the purchase because the vehicle met our needs, and the financing terms were reasonable. However, the issues continued. The sales manager promised to "make things right," but the follow-up felt more like lip service than real action. When we arrived to pick up our truck, it wasn’t ready—decals we asked to be removed were still there, the tank was only half-full, and the truck wasn’t fully cleaned. A simple attention to detail could have made all the difference.
I've downgraded my original 2-star rating to a single star. This edit was due in part to seeing more of the absolute lack of care this dealership provided upon delivery. We noticed that not only did they fail to properly clean the vehicle, they never even cleaned the location where the decals were removed. All in all, I'd say to anyone reading this review, don't make the same mistake we did: we like the truck, but we really should have gone to another dealership. And you should too.
While the truck itself is fine, the overall experience with Selkirk GM left a sour taste.
To Laurie who did contact me: Yes, the sales manager contacted me and somehow managed to make the situation worse. Kudos for trying, but I think that instead of saying, "I'm surprised by this, what do you want?" Try saying, "You know what, we really dropped the ball here. We'd like to offer (this) to make things right, because we do value you as a customer."

The service team at Selkirk GMC, and Craig in particular, is exceptional and worth the drive. Craig is always so professional and welcoming and makes me feel valued as a customer every time I roll in. Highly recommend.

I've now done multiple sales with Brendan, who was a pleasure to deal with, and highly recommend asking for his assistance in purchasing a vehicle.
Selkirk prices definently are cheaper than anywhere else.

Really happy with the all around service at Selkirk GMC. We responded to an ad on Facebook Marketplace and Anatolii replied. He was easy to work with. He was very relatable and kind without being pushy. We would definitely go to him for future purchases. Kayla in the finance department was also excellent. The whole process was smooth and easy.

Had my car detailed yesterday, it is an older car 2008.
I was disappointed with the quality of the detail.
Windows were streaky, missed areas on body, under hood, in wheel wells.
Spray on floor mats left spots.
Was my second visit as the first service work experience was great.
Will give them another opportunity.
I received a call from the dealership and when I returned for more service work they redid the detailing and it was much better than the first time. The other service work was completed successfully.
I recommend them if you're looking for a good GM dealership.

I drove out from Winnipeg and went for a Toyota Corolla XSE at Selkirk GM, they gave good numbers and it was a great deal with every features, accessories, in good condition included. Robyn helped me to my assistance, she was very professional and answered all my questions that I had. She even offered us something to drink, which was very nice of her. Robyn showed me lots of features and how to use things in the car. I took it for a test drive, and I was very pleased with the outcome and how it felt driving. Then when I was done talking to Robyn she lead me to Amber, who took car of the financing and bank details. She was also very sweet and professional. Amber gave me all her contact information if I ever had any other questions later on. Amber helped me secure my spot for the car as I gave them a deposit. I wanted the car the same day, but Amber said it'll be safer booking another appointment, which I agreed to and made sense. This will be my first car and I was really satisfied with no regrets coming to Selkirk GM. Thank you!

I took my car in with my old tires, on rims, for a winter tire program.write winter tire on the key drop envelope. Git a call the next afternoon that it was ready to go, right on! Drove my baby home amd the tires are my old ones, questionable at bst, and they'd just swapped
I'm a 1.5 h return trip.
Brought them back, tires got changed, refunded the $80.
One tire is wearing down at one point if the tire, in the middle .
Requested replacements, was told to bring my car in go be inspected before any warranties would go into effect.
I'm not bringing my car into a shop that put bald af tires back on my car and didn't even care. I'll deal with the tire and if it blows I'll buy new ones- anywhere but here.
Wish I could give 0 stars.

First time using Selkerk GM spoke with Robyn Very outstanding and obsessional service she was very helpful. The sale was quick and easy. She answered all are questions very knowledgeable. I’m an hour and a half out of the city definitely worth the trip. Gave me fair market value for my trade highly recommend Will definitely be back in a soon future thanks again, Robyn.

The service has always been fantastic. I appreciate the honesty with issues I should be aware of and not feeling pressured by the seemingly endless "add ons" that so many places try to push you to purchase.
