About Shoal Lake Motor Inn
Shoal Lake Motor Inn is a well-located hotel that offers decent accommodations at a reasonable price. While the hotel could use some updates to its older furniture and fixtures, the rooms are reported to be very clean. The front desk service on check-in is prompt and quick, but the main hallway between the lobby/bar and rooms needs brighter lighting as it is quite dark.
The food at the hotel's establishment is described as decent, with a good bacon and cheese burger and thick beef and barley soup being highlights. However, the service has been inconsistent, with the establishment seeming understaffed and unattentive at times. Nonetheless, the prices are reasonable, around $10-$15 per person.
Noteworthy details include ample parking space and the hotel's proximity to the lake, park, and other outdoor activities. Recent reviews have highlighted the efforts of the new management to provide exceptional customer service and a refreshing experience for guests, making the Shoal Lake Motor Inn a recommended option in the area.

The room is spacious and has parking. The location is good, the food is very good, but the room service is not good. I recommend improving the room service.
