“I have an elderly, disabled neighbor struggling to pay his rent and have money left over for food to eat.He tries his best, but some months 'falls short'. He told me he was raised to be independant all is of his life, He's been widowed for 3 years.I asked Helping Hands for an emergency food hamper on his behalf, as well as helped him organize visits to this food bank every week, to try to ease some stress in his life.Food insecurity is nothing to be ashamed of; I sometimes need to swallow my pride and occassionally ask for help every 3-4 months or so.I want to thank the Staff, the Volunteers and the wonderful people of Steinbach for their generosity in recognizing this paramount need and 'stepping up' to help.Your altruism, generosity and compassion is truly amazing! “It’s a small space but it withholds many treasures! Staff are pleasant to engage with and the prices are very fair. It’s a good little thrift store, my only “complaint” would be to improve the lighting as it can dark in some areas of the store and hard to get a good look at items (one of the skirts I bought has a stain on it I couldn’t see/didn’t notice in the store).”

“My husband works for EnVision and finds it rewarding and like any employment enjoys it most of the time. He cares about his clients and the people he works with. He makes a comparable wage and has received additional raises as his experience increases. The clients and people seem to appreciate him and his unique sense of humor and for this I am grateful as I appreciate this great character attribute as well. Its why I married him. Yes the job is hard. Taking care of people is not for the faint of heart or for those who give up easily. My husband cares and works hard. He likes most of his contacts and those he does not he uses his unique sense of humor.”

“Wonderful place for any great event. Nice and clean, staffs are friendly. They provide all info properly. There is enough place for parking.
They have a hall where you can execute different event.
I went there for Muslim Weekly Group Prayer (Jummah). Very nice arrangement. Really good place to visit. The charge for hall is also reasonable.”
