Just wanted to give a shout out to Jason at Metcalfe's Garage Ltd! We bought our Ford Edge at a fairly busy time in our lives last fall, so there was quite a delay in getting familiar with it. Here we are 8 months later, and Jason is still bending over backwards to respond to a text message to help me out or if I pop by the dealership, he always takes a bit of time to step out of the office and show me how something works! From sorting out techie glitches and how certain options work to reminders on how to adjust settings - he never makes me feel like I’m bothering him. Being able to buy local has always been important to us- and having outstanding customer support after purchasing our vehicle, solidifies our decision! Thanks so much!!

Brought my truck in on a transmission recall a while back and afterwards the transmission shifting affected the engine performance so me and the guy from the garage took it for a test drive and he observed the faultiness, so we took a same model truck for a ride and it had the same issue. After charging me for checking it and telling me they can't do anything about the programming I worried about the issues this transmission had for a few years.
After newly discussing my reliability concerns and having a few more test drives at the dealership this present day, the conclusion that the Ford crew and I hopefully agreed on was that Ford hasn't done anything to rectify this abnormal, sluggish shifting of their 6 speed, but I was assured by the crew that it should not be a problem which would cause a failure.
I appreciated all that the Metcalfe employees did to lessen my concerns, so I will give them a fair rating for their efforts.

I love Metcalfe’s in Treherne. I trust them to buy cars from, to do my maintenance, my tire changes, everything. They treat me with respect and I don’t feel like a number. I am a senior widow and I don’t want to have to bug my kids for help, so I go to Metcalfe’s. They are my car people.
