Met up with my boyfriend's family last night for dinner and was very disappointed. I'm hoping it was because we went at a later time in the day than most with only two staff, who were friendly and accommodating, the service was sub par and the food was less than desirable.
Out of eleven meals ordered, only two were satisfactory. The chicken fingers, fries, onion rings & fish were overcooked in old oil, the mashed potatoes were cold- even with the gravy on top and the burgers were leathery in texture (with one burger having a soft top bun and a hard bottom bun with hot and cold spots throughout the meat). Out of the dinners that were ordered, substitutions were given because they did not have enough of the sides available that were mentioned on the menu included with them.
I don't normally write reviews with a negative undertone, but suffice it to say, it was a lackluster experience.

I was running a bit late this morning, so I had to skip breakfast at home. I rolled in here and got some breakfast sandwiches. Oh my goodness. These are incredible!

My wife and I came to Treherne for our son's high school volleyball tournament. Stopped in at the Local for lunch. I ordered a cheese burger & fries while my wife ordered "the Local Wrap". This is the menu description for the wrap:Local WrapCA$12.99grilled chicken breast, ham, bacon, onion, mayo, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes & honey dill sauce. (Comes with fries or salad)My wife's wrap came to her with no chicken, no bacon, and no cheddar cheese. It did however come with ALOT of onions! She was able to take a few bites before pushing it aside and just ate her fries.Like I said, I ordered a cheeseburger & fries. I got a chicken burger. When I mentioned upon receiving my meal that I had ordered a cheese burger, the waitress told me "no, you ordered a chicken burger". Chicken burger isn't even in my vocabulary when ordering a meal!I did finish my meal and it was not bad at all, however we will not return.

Very poor experience. Went to stay at the motel and paid before looking. Rooms were grosse. They would not give our money back moments later after looking at the room. Very rude owner.Noteworthy details: Dirty roomsPoor customer service by owner

Room had chewed gum and empty chip bag behind the lamp when we checked in. My beard was thicker than the pillows.

Pizza was delightful but greasy. The fries are nice and crispy and the staff are very friendly.
