“Virden is an important part of our family history, so dropping in on the Virden Pioneer Home Museum as we were driving through was a priority. We were not disappointed. We had called the museum the day before and told them our plans. We met Christopher apon arrival and he treated us very well. We paid for the tour ($5 each), bought several books about the town, and explored the maps looking for the location of the family homestead. We found it. We are looking forward to our next visit.”
