Dear 7-Eleven Canada Team,
I am writing to share a very upsetting experience my family and I have been having at one of your 7-Eleven stores.
Our English is not very good, and the staff and the assistant manager at this location persistently do not understand us. Even when I try to show what I want to say using a translation app, they still don’t understand. When they don’t understand, they sometimes laugh, which makes us feel very embarrassed and disrespected. They do not say anything verbally, but their body language feels rude and angry. Sometimes, they even place or slide the products I buy onto the counter in a rough way, as if they are angry.
We live very close to this 7-Eleven and we used to love shopping there. But now, because of the behaviour of the staff and the assistant manager, we do not want to shop there anymore. This makes us very sad because we like 7-Eleven and it is very convenient for our family.
I would like to ask if this kind of treatment is acceptable under 7-Eleven’s company policy. We just want to be treated with basic respect like any other customer. I hope you will take this situation seriously and look into what is happening at this store.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this 7-Eleven due to the staff member’s behavior. Name- Pushpinder Instead of focusing on his job and providing basic customer service, he was overly interested in other people’s personal lives, asking unnecessary questions and making inappropriate comments that were absolutely none of his concern. This kind of behavior is intrusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable in a customer-facing role.
On top of that, his tone was rude and disrespectful, making the interaction uncomfortable and awkward. Customers come here to make a quick purchase, not to be judged, questioned, or made to feel uncomfortable. A staff member’s role is to be polite, respectful, and professional—nothing more, nothing less. Management needs to take this seriously and address this behavior immediately to ensure customers are treated with basic respect.

Almost every time we try to get anything from Skip from here, they call us saying half of what we ordered isn’t available or in stock, and tonight when we went to get snacks, both my Pocky and my husband’s Taffy were disgusting and moldy and expired 🤢😣

Someone that works Night Shift and wants to go to something late at night before going home I walk and they’re literally opened. It says 24 hours and they’re standing there and the doors were locked. I can’t even get in to get a drink at night. It’s ridiculous. This is the fifth time this happens different hours of the night. it’s ridiculous

Today I was going camping and planned to buy a lighter or matchbox. I originally meant to go to Dollarama for the long camping matches, but stopped at this 7 Eleven thinking it would save time.
I parked right in front, walked in, and went to grab a lighter. A young Punjabi guy working there asked, “Can I see your ID?” I felt suspicious and asked why. (I’m over 30.) He said it’s the law. I wasn’t aware of any such new law requiring ID for a lighter or matchbox.
Then another man who is in the picture got involved and confirmed it’s the law. I asked him to explain, and he pointed to a sticker about ID checks for tobacco and alcohol. I told them that there is only a Canada’s federal Lighters Regulations Act are about product safety, not age restrictions.
I also told them if there’s no such law, both of them and 7 Eleven may be violating Canadian consumer rights. I checked 7 Eleven Canada’s website after and found no policy mentioning ID for lighter sales.
Franchise owners should properly train their staff and teach them the limits of their authority. They’re not here to create their own laws or overstep consumer rights.

I had a really disappointing experience at this 7-Eleven location. I went there just to recharge my Peggo card, and the cashier named Mankumar Patel was extremely rude for no reason. I simply asked for help, and he responded in a very disrespectful tone, making me feel unwelcome. As a customer, I expect at least basic courtesy. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures better customer service in the future.

I will never go back to this 7 eleven, there is an old black guy in staff, and he says no to all the food items which he lies so he wont have to prepare them. When i confronted him about lying, He said i was busy doing other things and didn’t had time to cook your corndogs in oven for (2 minutes). When i confronted him about lying, he started yelling i am working here from last 30 years and i was surprised why the guy was so defensive. Worst part is they serve food without checking temperature which doesn’t guarantee the food is cooked from inside. Its hazardous if anyone gets sick due to consuming raw food. I worked at 7 eleven and they emphasize it in training, giving food without checking temperature can bring them law suit if anyone gets sick. So be cautious if you take food from this location.

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever tried. It was definitely stale. It smelled and was weirdly crunchy. Suddenly forzen pizzas sound good.

Would give zero stars if possible.
Bought a PlayStation “GIFT CARD” not subscription and was charged gst and pst on the 75 dollars an extra 9 dollars.
When asked about how it’s legal to charge taxes on gift cards they told me they got a email before and it’s lost so I can’t see it.
Would avoid the headquarters tax team doesn’t even know the difference between a gift-card and subscription service card.

What's been happening with the store-made cookies lately? Over the last month or 2 I've bought a few packages of them, and they've been rock-hard. I can understand if they're a few days old, but made on the same day of purchase?
