I had a positive experience with the bank staff. They were friendly, attentive, and efficient in addressing my queries. The level of customer service provided was commendable, making the banking process smooth and hassle-free. It's always reassuring to encounter a team that values customer satisfaction, and the staff at this bank certainly demonstrated professionalism and courtesy.

Very bad customer service skills. One of the representative ( Remy) was very condescending towards my call. Never tried to show any effort in helping.

Worst custom service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Not surprised in the least at the low rating. Iris will come up with multiple excuses to cover up her mistakes. Zero accountability. Bank elsewhere

Toxic Branch at best.I was a member for a long time and my accounts still open there but I do y use it. The staff rotate like a revolving door which is red flag number one.If you have any issue a teller can solve. Good luck. Manager bias is so obvious it’s disgusting. I’ve seen and gone thru so many instance I’ll just say the most frustrating. . was I was dinged 32$ Six times consecutively for a third party app screw up. The company emailed Assiniboine even. Said it was an error in their end. Assiniboine GRACIOUSLY covered one of 6. The 32$ fee was over a 62 cent transaction. (I was phasing out the inactive account) you’d think after 10 years of loyalty they could waive that. Even with admittance from the third party. When the issue got up the branch to Kim. She gave me a whole 20Seconds of her time. Stay away from that branch. It’s horrific.

“The sloppiest attempt to follow protocol I’ve ever seen from a financial institution. Witnessed Kim Sylvester first hand use evasive vocabulary plus her position of power, to bully myself and a NON member of the CU.She will blindly be defending her Manager of Member Service, Jill North.Together they are the Judge, Jury & The Warden. If a CU is wrong, they’re right. Because nobody holds them accountable for their customer relations.FIRB governs them. BUT WILL NOT oversee their mishandling of members or non members. But I was at this branch 6 years before I had to switch. Banks decent. No issues. But That branch. No good. I would advise any member that encounters an issue, to be non confrontational, and just be quiet because they don’t want to hear you and don’t care.

I go to the teller, I’m a member for 7 years, ask to cash a cheque which is very common for me once a week through work. Cheque addressed to me the same from the same merchant. The teller then processes it, just to inform me Assiniboine will hold it (I forget how many days). Right infront me. I couldn’t believe it. That’s not how this has ever worked. And no previous warning or instructions.The Manager I believe Jill North, comes to the aid of her co-worker, does not hear me out or even has interest in my side of the story. Immediately and uninformatively corroborates the tellers story. Like I was ganged up on and had no fair shake.Few more things I can’t recall but just bad branch business. It was always a displeasure going.

where do I begin, they cant send out cheques to the right address, they cant set up appointments, they cant transfer accounts, they cant do pretty much anything you need a bank to do. Oh they will give a loan but when you say, "No insurance" they will still add insurance to the loan because they dont listen. All my money is at another institution now, Thanks Assiniboine

Love the customer service they are awesome people pembina branch. Members are rude to them still they are patient I have seen it myself how they handle things professionally even dealing with some rude people. I have always loved their member service and great price packages. Trust me banks are rip off not Assiniboine credit union. they help you in every possible way to satisfy their memeber’s financial needs!
