“I don’t understand why there are the number of low ratings there are or the reasons behind them. Are people’s service expectations unrealistically high? For example, expecting a CSR to know what the rates are for a loan or mortgage is ridiculous. That sort of question should clearly be posed to a back office staff member or lending officer. I was a bank employee in Winnipeg for over 25 years and saw a significant migration of customers from banks to credit unions. Why? Because credit unions like Assiniboine CU excel in delivering exemplary service.”

We need more caring, professional willingness to help as Stelio has been offering the best and attentive customer service.
Best customer service experience with CIBC I have ever had thanks to Stelio!
Besides that, banking with CIBC has been increasingly difficult recently including a long line wait at the branch with only two tellers an extra security guard and one additional staff just staring at ATM machine, with a call together with customer service at the branch just to verify myself.
I understand the difficulties nowadays for banking, but I did not expect a shock from a very unexpected poor customer experience policy for banking that I’ve ever had.
Thank you for the amazing offer via CIBC credit card, but I need some human kind interactions here to support me, not just run for goal settings. Five star just for Stelio, bye for now.”

“Today (14 august 2024 at 11:00 am) i made a visit according about uninformed service charges every month. My bank account shows no fees checking account but bank charges near about $24. I requested cashier about that and she asked from senior. One gentleman came and showed very bad customer service. He refused and said that he cannot do anything. I asked how can i close my account and he frequently got ready to close my account. This is lowerest customer service of that employee. Unfortunately i forgot to note down name of that employee. i am trying to make complaint to higher authorities about everything (customer service and uninformed money charged)
