I wanted to see a kindle paperwhite. They said it is available but not on display. So then what's the point of having a store if you wont show the devices? it is the same than buying online. Makes it pointless to go to the store. I wanted to actually try the size and weight of the device. Disapointing experience.

Worst experience at Best Buy tonight BY FAR. I went in and was immediately approached by a young lady asking if she can help me. I asked her for the first item on my list which is something I can wear to sleep to drown out noise. aka ear buds or something similar. She took me to the most expensive part of the section (Bose) and said to try on any of the over the ear head sets. Not what I was looking for but ok. So I browsed around myself and my son joined me. We found the perfect noise headband for sleeping which my son proceeded to buy. They didn’t give him a bag so he stuffed it in his hoodie pouch and then was followed around by three different sales people. The young lady who first approached me asked me on three occasions if I needed help while looking me up and down to see if I was concealing merchandise. I felt very rushed in my shopping experience so I paid for my item(where they asked me for my identification?) and left. My son stayed in the store with my husband who was also harassed 3-4 times by the same young lady from the headphone section. Very unpleasant experience. I won’t be spending money there any more.

Sumeet happened by at just the right time. He was exceptionally patient in helping me find the item I needed. He turned what was looking to be a rather dismal consumer experience where the online pickup failed to work out for me into a completely positive experience. The store can certainly use more employees like him. Somebody should give this guy a raise.

I had a horrible experience in the store. I asked the lady who was wearing a microsoft shirt and looking at her phone where can I find stand alone microphones and she pointed me in the wrong direction. I asked another staff member where the stand alone microphones are and they said they didn't know. After searching the store I finally found it. The staff seem to be clueless about where the items are in their store. Management should provide proper training. I will never go to that store again

Horrible experience...!!!! Went yesterday to get a $1200 laptop for me. Before buying the laptop they all were forcing us to get thier useless membership for 19.99/Month. After we said no to everything we went to cashout our laptop. Associate name MANSIMAR was behaving out of this world. We were told that we will be getting anti-virus installed for $30. She went on argument with us that its for $188. After talking to managers we anyhow got it for $30. After that we were trying to transfer money to our credit card as it has limit of $1000 only. As network was very slow inside thier store, it was taking sometime to get money transferred. She started behaving very awkward with us. Never said thank you and was behaving like she is the owner of the store. Please teach her some customer service skills. She can't be team lead if she behaves like this. I hope you let her read this review..!

Went in yesterday for a pair of blue light glasses. Saw there was a pair in stock online. Called the store and they confirmed the pair was in stock.I went in and asked the first young man where to find them, he pointed to the back right hand corner of the store and walked away before I could ask more questions. Got over there. There was absolutely nothing besides printing supplies so I went up to another young man. He was on his phone texting. He said he would check and walk towards where we had told him we already checked. We ran into him about three minutes later walking away from the gaming section and then he asked us if we had checked there when that was his task. There was a group of girls, just standing around, like most of the employees seem to be doing. I asked them for help only one of them went and pretended to be looking. The rest of them just scattered themselves and stood around waited 15 minutes for the employee to come back with the pair of glasses I didn’t want after I had showed her a photo of what I was looking for and asked her to look in the back. She pretended to go look in the back when I could see her just talking to the geek squad people and then came back to tell me she couldn’t find them. Allow me to remind you I had checked online and called the store to confirm they had this pair in stock. I decided to go to Best Buy Regent. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Regent has Such helpful staff they will walk you right to the item. Get the item to you and make sure you are satisfied with it. Best Buy Polo Park seems to be run by a bunch of irresponsible teenagers who really don’t care about their customers. They definitely have way too many staff. Most if not all of the staff is just standing around not helping anyone. Going to Best Buy Regent, the staff would walk up to customers and take the initiative to ask the customers if they needed help. Won’t be returning to this location will be going to Regent from now on.

First I called them 4 days ago that if they have 15 Pro Max 256gb black in stock, they said they have it and got call from that store for 2 days that if you are still interested and I booked and appointment with them for today. And when i went there after booking an appointment still I had to wait for 1.15 hours. While I was waiting bonus part was that 3-4 employees were helping 1 costumer. When I asked can you please help me, they were like we will help you in 2 minutes and their 2 minutes were 45 minutes . And finally they helped me after requesting and then they said that they don’t have it in stock. They only have blue in stock. i don’t understand what is the point of booking an appointment and drive 2 hours with no product in hand. They were very unprofessional people. Never going back to the store again.

Wow I was there today with every intention to buy a tv, a good tv! Sales staff just chatted away with each other. It’s a lazy Sunday i guess. Not one of the 5 sales staff offered any type of help. When I was pulling out tvs to see the inputs you would think they would say something. After 20 minutes I just walked out of the store. I will never give them business again. USELESS

Make sure to double and triple check your receipts… only saw after that they signed me up for the geek squad membership without my consent. They stated I would be getting it for free and now I’m charged each month. Went back yesterday to rectify and after an hour and a half of being put through the ringer all I got was $50 cash.. now I’m stuck paying $30 a month for something I will never use. Absolutely furious.

I went to Best Buy in the St. James (Polo Park) area, in need to find an Apple Mac Book. I was helped by a very nice gentleman named Joseph. He immediately was super knowledgeable with the technology and happy to help me find what I needed. He gave me great insight on the different details in terms of logic software, different programs, pricing, features etc. all the needs to know. You can visibly tell that he enjoys his job and that he puts customer service first over all. His patience to walk me through everything was amazing and he knows so much. His kindness and genuine heart to help customers is so great. We need more people like Joseph!! Thank you!

Arielle at customer service is seriously the best. I made a mistake in buying the wrong TV. When I took it back, I was so worried. But she was so kind and put me at ease. She found me a better tv than I wanted. She had Sneha come to give me ANOTHER 10 dollars off. I walked out so happy. Please, please, please, Best Buy, give Arielle a raise! She deserves it! St James location in Winnipeg.

Returned an item today. All cashiers (2-3 were busy with customers), customer service desk was busy with an employee and customers. I would say that service wise it was pleasant, two associates were kind and just told me to hold off, however it would be best if the cashiers would actually just do what they are supposed to and not engage in long conversations and have other customers wait and disrupt other working employees. Management clearly needs to set a standard for all. Thanks to the two employees (one was a team lead) and another tall white employee who was busy with a task but accommodated me anyways.

Excellent store. Especially worth mentioning how helpful and accomodating the staff is. I mistakenly opened a pair or earphones which I then wanted to return. Even though online policies mentioned that it cant be returned, the staff understood my concern and gave me a full refund as store credits.Full marks to their operations and customer centric approach.

Went there today to buy JBL Partybox! Nobody wants to help or assist. I’ve asked 3 associates and told me they will call somebody to help me after 20mins and still no one came to help! Despite the fact that it’s very quiet inside the store not even busy day for them. Ohh by the way! before i went out i tried to talk again to one of the associates and ask for help and she is very irritated and too obvious don’t wanna help. Definitely not going back to this Location (Bestbuy St. James Winnipeg)

All employees have been very helpful. Bought a switch here for Christmas and it was amazing. Recently bought a laptop that wasn’t what I expected and Sumesh was great with helping me resolve the situation
