It is not an exaggeration to say that this was the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. Not just in car repair/body work, but ANY time I’ve interacted with the employees of a business for any reason. While scrolling MPI’s list of registered shops, I clicked on this one as it was close to my work. Best choice I could have made. I want to start by thanking Adam the general manager. Adam was patient with me as I asked him a million questions. He advocated for me to MPI. He called me lots from start to finish with regular updates about my car and reassuring me that things were going well. I’d also like to thank Collin and Courtney from the office assistance and positive attitudes as well. Finally, I want to thank the entire team at Boyd Autobody and Glass on Watson for saving my vehicle. They worked hard, fast and creatively to ensure my car was repaired to 100% quality while remaining within MPI’s approved repair budget. I genuinely believe if I had gone to a different shop my car would be gone, all from an accident that I was found 0% at fault for. If you’re looking for a body shop to work on your vehicle, you have found the place.

Horrible service. Took my vehicle there for assessment, brought it back to me with an additional error, headlamp error. Told them it wasn't there before, guy told me it was all wrecked. IT WAS NOT THERE WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF! Anyways, came back monday said job would be around 20 hours so it would be by friday it will be done. Come friday, no calls whatsoever. Monday called and said it's gonna be another week! Come friday, got my vehicle and said ac does not turn, i needed my vehicle so i took it and came back. When I got home, cover for the back panels were not installed, bolts and plastic moulds on my cupboard. When I came back they said it was a lego piece. And wonder where those bolts should have been placed? Am not about to take it apart just to know. A few days later, looked at my engine bay, one part of the hood they replaced has a damaged lock. Told them and they said they are gonna order one and call me. Will be here wed. Called wed morning part is here. Came down and said part is not in and they will have to reorder? Like really? Asked the receptionist and he called someone else, he told the receptionist in a clear voice that they got the wrong part and have to reorder. Receptionist said would you mind telling him. And guy said oh he heard me. Frickin awesome customer service. Another week or 2 they replaced it. Noticed that the plastic film protection on the side of the hood/headlight has bubbles. They said they will fix it. 2 hours. Dropped it off 730 AM. 4:30 pm called them and still not done. Will have to be picked up tom. 2 hours right? Next day, they left me a message it was done. When asked why it took so long, girl said the paint peeled so we had to repaint it, and good thing we are honest about it. Like really? Those are your words? Instead of apologizing for the delay and telling me what happened the day before? How dishonest can you guys be? Also the damage to my vehicle is on the right side only, how come there were so many other things? It was a minor fender bender. Hopefully mpi checks it. Also, all the overspray on their paint job is horrible, . Never going back. Never referring.

Unacceptable Delays and Frustratingly Poor Service
My car was stolen, and a wrecker brought it to them for repairs. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a complete nightmare.
I was told the key ignition lock cylinder would take about a month and a half to replace. Instead, the shop held onto my car for almost five months. On top of that, a dent on the back door was never repaired, despite my identifying it. After all that time, they told me the engine was perfectly fine, but I later found out that was incorrect. The engine overheated just a few meters after I picked it up, and I had to return it. They then charged me $200 for a second diagnosis and found that the thermostat was broken, even though they had previously guaranteed the engine had no problems.
I also discovered that several items were missing from the car: a dash camera, an OBD speedometer, a cigarette adapter, and an AM/FM Bluetooth transmitter. I am very familiar with my car and can confirm these items were present during the first walk-through. When I raised this with the shop, they argued that there were no cameras at the time my car arrived. To confirm the missing items, I requested a copy of the photos from my MPI adjuster. The photos revealed that the items were indeed missing, and the shop's only response was an apology. This was completely unsatisfactory, especially considering the 12-foot steel fence and cameras on the property. I had to file a second police report for this incident.
The shop should have replaced the missing items and, for consideration, should not have charged me $200 for the second diagnosis.
The entire experience was a frustrating lesson in poor customer service, unacceptable delays, and incomplete work. I would not recommend them.

It started as a decent experience The woman I spoke with was fantastic and if I could give her just five stars and everyone else one I would. Allison is the only person there that is competent.
First of all brought my vehicle in there, I'd been in an accident. It was an MPI coverage. The inspected it it took quite a while which wasn't their fault because the parts had to come in understandable.
I was fully expecting this vehicle was going to be written off and to be honest I was a little relieved but it could be fixed okay cool.
They said there was only a little bit of damage but when I got my car back the AC did not work. My husband went back and let them know this and they said well because the accident hit the back panel there was no damage in the front and they wouldn't even check the front.
They said to just basically scam Canadian Tire because they were the ones who had fixed my AC and to just not tell them that it had been in an accident so that it could be fixed for free under the warranty. Scummy.
Brought it back with the intention that they would do the inspection and that if they found damage from the accident they would submit it to MPI, And if not I would have to pay the difference.
The day for them to do it rolls around they didn't even look at it apparently they were so indignant that there was no damage from the accident that they didn't even look at the vehicle. Which tells me the mechanic cared more about being right than fixing my issue. They then offered that they could do it but it would be at my expense and explained exactly the thing that I brought my car there for.
Brought it elsewhere to be looked at because now I know longer trusted them and lo and behold the accident had caused AC damage. It needs to be repaired about $4,000 meaning my vehicle would have been written off in the first place which means I could have had a vehicle months ago if they had done their job properly the first time.
Instead I had to wait 2 months for a vehicle that might get written off in the end anyway.
So yeah definitely recommend avoiding the shop at all cost because their mechanic is completely inept , stubborn and bullheaded.
At least Allison's awesome.

The front desk lady (her name started with a C) was super friendly and helpful even when the shop got a bit busy. She was able to manage multiple customers at one time while maintaining a professional image. In regards to my car, it was repaired 2 days late because of the mechanic calling in sick. It would’ve been nice to receive an update because I did have to call in myself to see why I haven’t heard anything about my car being ready for pickup.

I have been to this Boyd a few times and every time Adam has been so helpful and patient with my questions and concerns. He explained about MPI, had one of his staff take the time to colour match my new bumper. I have an older van so it was hard. I cannot say enough about Adam and how he treats their customers.

Terrible service! From the front desk to the manager.. Poorly ran! From the start date of them getting my car to them also saying they couldn’t help me with one of my tires that had a leak.
Then said they called me a bunch of times for pick up… Never left a voice mail ONCE. They lied through their teeth on the phone and in person. Took my car in for hail damage & Got got my car back with some spots on the door! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOYD on Watson

My husband was in an accident that damaged our Kia Sorento. We decided to go to Boyd Auto body on Watson. Best decision! Adam Beazley explained everything, got us a rental car asap, and was just so calm and knowledgeable about our cars damage. He was spot on. The whole process was so professional and effortless for us ( Seniors) Thankyou Adam. We are so thankful to have met you, and have you guide us thru the repair process. C.R.
