“We went to Discount Building Products based on an ad found on Marketplace.
We were looking for a new door handle for a hard to find door. After looking at the prices of new handles online, we decided that we would pay the extra hundred dollars and purchase an entire door with new handles, frame, etc. DIscount had what we were looking for at a very reasonable and competitive price. As we were really looking for just the door handle, the 1st sales associate looked at their supplier stock and found the handle we were looking for at approximately half the cost of the entire proposed door. We went home to remeasure and think about the options. After going back to place the order, the second sales associate found another solution and everything was solved. The new handle is now installed in my door and it is perfect. The staff (it is a family owned, local Winnipeg business) went above and beyond to help us out.
One more thing... they have a large inventory of windows and doors at prices better than the large box stores. I recommend them whole heartedly and will definitely go back with my additional window and door needs.”
