Hours: Central DM Laundromat is a clean, comfortable, and safe place. The building is reasonably clean and comfortable inside, with machines that are reasonably spaced. Most machines are running, which is really nice. The staff are available to help when the store isn't busy, and the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The machines are newer and in good working order. Most are HE washing machines, and both the washers and dryers are very quick, at roughly 35 minutes each. Load prices vary, with a normal wash around $3.50 and a super wash at $3.75. Larger capacity machines are available, ranging from $12.00 to $13.50. Dryers cost $2.50 for about 30 minutes. Roughly $6 to do a load is considered a fair and worth-it price. Amenities include a change machine, a wall-mounted TV, and a jukebox. The place is open until 10 pm, which is reasonable. A vending machine for snacks has been suggested. However, a notable concern is that all washers use hot water on one setting, which may not be suitable for expensive or delicate clothes requiring cold or gentle cycles, and this was met with an unprofessional answer. Despite this, many customers find it a good place and plan to return for their laundry needs.
