“Dollar tree is a dollar store. Dollar stores are great for arts and crafts and seasonal decor. Snacks and drinks and small grocery items. Variable on tools and electronics but over all a great place to wonder how you bought so many things in such a short time.”

“Dollarama is located in the court of Saint James on portage Avenue. It’s a bit smaller than other Dollarama’s but it carries almost all of the same products. Staff was friendly and it was clean and well stocked. There’s plenty of parking.”

“This Dollar Tree is located in the St. James area of Winnipeg on Portage Avenue. It’s located in a strip retail mall adjacent to Sobeys, Canadian tire, winners, and Walmart. It is well stocked, the staff is friendly and there’s plenty of parking.”

They even have online shopping where you can select which store you will pick up your purchase from.
When you shop at a Dollarama, you will find a lot of stuff is repackaged with Dollarama branding. But they do carry well known brand names like Rubbermaid.”
“Very sweet young lady working here. I’m guessing she was a manager? I attempted to pull out a faux flower to look at but it was jammed right far down, and in doing so, the whole shelf of flowers fell! Not safe, by whomever stuffed so many in, but this sweet employee was most helpful in anchoring it back to the wall, apologizing for the incident. She even went so far as to grab the ladder to check a price for me (: Busy location, well stocked. Please advise shelf stockers to not put so much inventory out to create a hazard.”
“The aisles in many Dollaramas are so narrow that it's a constant problem trying to shop while having to continuously try to let people pass or get past the people and carrs. Otherwise all good. Great place to get stuff”

“Great place for groceries and clothes. They have lots of seasonal things, like sunscreens ir snow brushes fir your car. They also have home improvement stuff like paint brushes and electrical tape or small hardware things. They also have beauty supplies too!”
“I sat in the car with the kids while my girlfriend ran in to get a few things. We had a good time sitting there. The youngest had a nap while the older two and I played on our phones and listened to the radio.Went in this time bought some things.”

And it was 4.30 pm. No reason why there shouldn't be store people.

“As usual like the other dollar trees everything was a dollar or less ( US DOLLARS) they applied exchange rate which is 25 cents. Now bc of the inflation, everything is 1.50 CAD.”

The parking spots seem plentiful, roomy, however everyone and all their things seem shady and perverse. “This store has a good selection of products and the staff is pretty friendly. Dollarama is a really good store to go to for cheap snacks. A huge problem with this location is the fact that some of their canned goods are dinged up and have been that way for quite a while now. They look like someone was playing street hockey with them. I don't know if the damage was done at some point before arriving at the store or if it was caused by careless employees stocking shelves. Whatever the reason is for the damaged packaging, it reflects badly on the store. Either the employees here aren't aware of the damaged merchandise or they simply don't care. Always check the quality of the packaging before you buy something here.”
