“This store has a good selection of products and the staff is pretty friendly. Dollarama is a really good store to go to for cheap snacks. A huge problem with this location is the fact that some of their canned goods are dinged up and have been that way for quite a while now. They look like someone was playing street hockey with them. I don't know if the damage was done at some point before arriving at the store or if it was caused by careless employees stocking shelves. Whatever the reason is for the damaged packaging, it reflects badly on the store. Either the employees here aren't aware of the damaged merchandise or they simply don't care. Always check the quality of the packaging before you buy something here.”
“Dollar tree is a dollar store. Dollar stores are great for arts and crafts and seasonal decor. Snacks and drinks and small grocery items. Variable on tools and electronics but over all a great place to wonder how you bought so many things in such a short time.”
“By far the best dollar store I’ve been to. Great prices and they got cool boxes. I will say their box stock has gone down recently so hopefully that doesn’t continue or I might have to change this review.”
“Dollarama is located in the court of Saint James on portage Avenue. It’s a bit smaller than other Dollarama’s but it carries almost all of the same products. Staff was friendly and it was clean and well stocked. There’s plenty of parking.”
“Pretty decent Dollarama. Lots of staff in store. The place was pretty clean and was well stocked. Lots of parking out front. Location is pretty good and central to other stores. Good spot to get cheap candy.”
“This Dollar Tree is located in the St. James area of Winnipeg on Portage Avenue. It’s located in a strip retail mall adjacent to Sobeys, Canadian tire, winners, and Walmart. It is well stocked, the staff is friendly and there’s plenty of parking.”
“Very sweet young lady working here. I’m guessing she was a manager? I attempted to pull out a faux flower to look at but it was jammed right far down, and in doing so, the whole shelf of flowers fell! Not safe, by whomever stuffed so many in, but this sweet employee was most helpful in anchoring it back to the wall, apologizing for the incident. She even went so far as to grab the ladder to check a price for me (: Busy location, well stocked. Please advise shelf stockers to not put so much inventory out to create a hazard.”

“I like the store. Unlike Dolorama, you can exchange items there if you don't like something. Whenever I go there, I buy this fat remover. It works well, but it's very aggressive. You need to wear gloves when using it.”

“Just recently visited for the first time in a few years and everything was great. Big store with lots of selection just like most locations. I used the loading zone parking just around the corner since I was grabbing 2 quick things and was gone before 15 minutes, so that was good!”

“I'm a regular customer at this location but I want to share that I had a really nice experience that day because one of the staff she's a Filipino with an eye glasses she was very helpful and patient even she's busy doing something she didn't hesitate to help me, also everytime I see her she always smile. I really appreciated her great customer service.”
“The aisles in many Dollaramas are so narrow that it's a constant problem trying to shop while having to continuously try to let people pass or get past the people and carrs. Otherwise all good. Great place to get stuff”
“Meh. . . I went to ask for help, but the store people were too busy trying to figure out what a homeless person was doing and after that i couldn't even find a single person working on the floor. ?
And it was 4.30 pm. No reason why there shouldn't be store people.
I guess dollarama is a boring place to work at. So a homeless intervention has given them the interest and adrenaline they need in life ?♂️ whatever.”
“Store and staff are always so busy working but any time you ask for help they are so helpful!! Anyone complaining for a 5 star service but clearly can see they are doing their job are reviews not to listen. This location is so much better in inventory than Pembina as well”
“Deeelitious! I feel so clever and covert in the parking lot for reasons which cannot and will not ever be explained. YOU DONT EVEN KNOW!!!! The parking spots seem plentiful, roomy, however everyone and all their things seem shady and perverse. Just kidding, all seems fine and dandy and BONUS there is a place to buy jars of whiskey across the street!”

“I swear, every time I’m here somebody is cleaning, stocking, or doing something. Clean store, no lazy staff. 👌 Also seems to have more/better stock than others in Winnipeg. Definitely my personal favourite Dollarama in the city”
