What an amazing place! We' ve discovered this tiny and adorable bakery only a few months ago. The variety of products and exceptional taste made it our favorite place to buy delicious desserts. Tiramisu and Kyiev cake are beyond any expectations. Homemade and naturally tasting without ant artificial aftertaste. My daughter's favorite is gluten-free perogies, a good option for a quick healthy meal. We'd recommend anyone to go and give it a try, a nice and homey atmosphere, you won't be disappointed.

I'm from Kyiv, Ukraine, so after reading all the good reviews and two articles about this shop online, I was convinced everything would taste just right, so I went there and got a piece of each: honey cake, Kyiv tort, hazelnut meringue, Napoleon cake, berry cake and a vanilla eclair. Also some vegan cabbage rolls with eggplant and mushrooms. The presentation was great, but the taste was disappointing... Kyiv tort didn't taste like traditional Kyiv tort should taste at all. I feel like it shouldn't be called Kyiv tort as it's misleading for the customers... The berries in the berry cake were fresh, and they tasted like they already started to ferment. I know using fresh fruit in desserts might be tricky, but still... The only desserts that weren't too bad were the honey cake and the eclair. The cabbage rolls were too sour, too much tomato sauce. Of course, we haven't tried everything they sell there, so maybe other stuff is better, but we weren't impressed at all with what we have tried. :(

Hands down the best gluten free offerings we've found in Winnipeg, so glad we came across this little gem! Being able to just walk in somewhere with the whole family and each one is able to get at something is rare with us, will be back for sure.

It's a gem on Corydon Avenue. It can be easy to miss. The desserts here are extraordinary!! They give out samples and that's when you'll fall in love. They have so many types of desserts that will have you leaving happy each time you visit. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!They also make Handmade perogies and real smoked bacon. Most stores use liquid smoke but actually smoke. It's also Ukrainian owned. The bacon and perogies are pricey($15) but the taste makes it a treat to grab every once in awhile.
