I have owned two cars in the past; one was with Chevy, and it was great so I decided to stick with the company for my third car. Mason was my sales professional and I could not have imagined working with someone so great. He was warm and welcoming, cared about what I needed for my vehicle, and he worked with my budget to make my dream car a reality. I would 100% go back here again!

This 1 star is only for one specific employee. The rest deserves a 5 star coz they are great specially those in service. This 1 star is for someone who is assigned in tire section, a chinese looking guy on his mid 20's to early 30's. This guy needs a customer service training and He should learn from the great guys in the service.1) If you stand up in front, He won't bother to recognize your presence. He will just continue with his computer and when you say excuse me, that's when he says I'm just doing something please wait.2)Then when I asked about winter tire you will feel he's unwillingness to help. I was asked to go to the 2 great guys in service to inquire. Then the guys in service was so helpful to explain and asked me to go back to the tire section again.3)When I came back He told me to go back again to the other section. And when I told Him I was asked to go back thats the only time he processed my request. What the heck is he doing there. He doesn't know your process? Train Him properly coz He's tone and the way he talks is a bit rude.

Got an oil change and winter tires. The tire guy was very good, he spent a good 10 minutes looking for the best deal for me and showed me all of my options. Wound up saveing me some money. Although. I didn't have an appointment for the tires they were very good and installed them right away

The service department really needs to learn customer service or get a customer service team that knows how to talk to customers and can schedule properly… let the mechanics work and not interact with customers cause they have no ethics in customer service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review going out to Matt K. in the Parts/Service Department!I bought my vehicle in August 2023 and have loved it so far! With this recent Manitoba cold snap, my vehicle’s check engine light came on and I lost a significant amount of power to my vehicle. I brought it in to Jim Gauthier right away, as I have extended power terrain warranty with my vehicle and thought there was a major issue with my engine.Matt was the first one to help me out at the dealership when arriving with my vehicle - and as stressed as I was, he was hands down, the most helpful and made the process of bringing my vehicle in way less stressful. I explained the situation to him, he was able to give a good guess at what he thought the issue may be (he guessed pretty good - because he was bang on with the diagnosis)! He was able to set me up with a rental/courtesy car in the meantime (which was a huge weight off of my shoulders!), and he was able to get my car looked at and fixed by the following day! I was able to pick up my car the following day by 3pm - the service done to my vehicle was unbelievably quick!Communication with Matt was great, he was able to provide updates with my vehicle in the meantime as well!Overall, he was able to help make a very stressful situation a lot less stressful, which meant everything! This was my first time ever having to bring a vehicle in under warranty and I was panicking. Thankfully, Matt helped in making the process a lot easier and less nerve-wracking!Another huge thank you goes out to the staff in the Service Department for looking at my vehicle so quickly and fixing the issue! I’m so happy to have my vehicle back on the road!

BEWARE! Sells lemons and sales manager Ian is rude and inconsiderate.Went here looking to buy my first new vehicle from a dealership, and it started off well, found a decent truck and made a deal to have some work done to the truck so I’m happy with taking it off their hands. They agreed and said they would fix the small issues, paint chips and 3/4 of the wheels had terrible deep scratches all over them, the deal was to fix the paint chips, the wheels and the dent and we were good.Now they’re refusing to do any work to the truck and it’s been full of problems, I was promised that it was reliable, no problems and was good to go! NOPE!Valve stem leak, then a tire bead leak?. 4 visits still not fixed…Really bad air lock when fueling up.Engine misfire 1.5 weeks into owning it, took 4 weeks to diagnose it and it still wasn’t “fixed” , the day I was asked to pick it up and drive it home the tire was flat and the engine was misfiring horribly, again. Unacceptable for a $43k truck… Only drove it 1.5 weeks out of the 1.5 months that I’ve owned it. Ridiculous!! Nobody answers the phone, they ignore messages, and the sales manager is extremely rude when it comes to problem solving. Tells you that nothing will be done to your vehicle unless it’s covered by warranty, even if the dealer promised to get the work done like they did. They held on and Still have my truck that I’m paying way too much for, and they’re telling me I can’t return it because I’ve owned it too long. I’ve been trying to return it since the second week of ownership and nobody listens! It’s been at the dealership most of MY ownership.The repairs seemed to have been purposely delayed to try and make sure I am stuck with this lemon. As it sits at the dealership for weeks without anyone telling me it’s ready for pickup, even after I ask about it. I have to physically travel 30 minutes to get there and find out myself, every time.I have always been very respectful and patient with Jim Gauthier Chevrolet, but this is unacceptable for a dealership. The fact things were promised to be done, and how nothing has been done the whole time it’s been in, asides from breaking my windshield during a test drive…I would advise against going here.. save your time and energy.Had to return several times for negotiation on making things happen as it was a promise for it all to be done. I spoke with Ian, and he constantly talked over me, raised his voice, and every-time I had the chance to speak my opinion and feelings, he instantly shut them down and said there’s nothing he can do about it.I requested for my money back or a different vehicle due to the one I bought being a lemon that’s full of problems that can’t seem to be fixed in a proper and timely manner.I was instantly denied and I was told I’m stuck with the truck due to me owning it longer than 30 days.I drove it for around 12-15.days And it sat at the shop for another 15-30 days in total afterwards. I got it back again, and the same routine, 10-15 days in the shop. How does this make me liable for the 30 days? If I barely even got to drive it?? And when I did it was just problematic.(Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump, and Fuel Filter) we’re all replaced with “new” parts after negotiation. But the airlock is even worse than before now, seemingly as if nothing was done.Costing me more time and money returning once again.They replaced 2 spark plugs and 2 ignition coils and the engine still has some rough moments when it shakes and feels like it’s slightly misfiring…They are not doing all the promised work, only 1-2/3 wheels, and the small paint chip. Leaving the dent and the other trashed rim in my hands.The worse first experience I could have never expected to have at a dealership. Some employees are great, but customer satisfaction is non-existent here. I shouldn’t need to be the one making things happen and pushing for work to be done that was already promised.

?BECAREFUL!!!! BECAREFUL!!! BECAREFUL!!!I went here to have my car safety done. After few hours the service advisor told me about the result and my car strut needs to be replaced and strut has no oil etc.. with the total cost of $3k parts and labor! Due to parts shortage they need to order it. So they asked me to pay $200 for the safety inspection done and they will give me call as it will take weeks for the parts to arrive.So what I did is asked for second opinion, I brought my car to Midas and told them all the issues I’ve been told by Fahim the service guy from Jim G. So they did the safety inspection and they didn’t find any damage on my strut! What they have found is only my inner left tie rod needed to be changed which cost $300 only parts and labour already! So they ordered the parts and booked me an appointment.So I went back to Jim Gauthier and told Fahim (service advisor)that I had second opinion and my strut has no issues at all. But of course be keeps insisting that there is an issue as thats what their technician found. I told him no and I will not proceed with the repair as there’s no issues about my strut and I will not going to spend $3k for that damage never exist! So after minutes of arguments he asked his manager what to do and they voided the paper but they didn’t give any refund at all for the $200 or even partial!!. So i was ripped off by $200 and paid to get stressed by them!!!! ???While in Midas you don’t need to pay anything for the inspection! They will check and tell you what’s wrong with your car and give you time if you want to proceed with them with the repair or no. So if you want your car to be safety guys. Go to Midas St Anne! They are the best!

After an amazing experience last year, had the complete opposite experience this year with their service department. Poor communication, attempted to overcharge on repairs, were not keen on working with warranty company, and, most concerning, their senior leadership refused to engage to address my concerns after multiple attempts. Crickets! Not minimizing my experience last year but this year’s situation leaves a lot to be desired from a customer service perspective.
