Never been into the store in my life. What I needed was in a locked cabinet. There was no employees visible on the floor I stood at the front register waiting for ten minutes and was noticed several times. To then be asked if I took a number. that I didn't know I Needed to do to begin with. 1 person who knew did after i arrived at the front desk waiting. Could have been told or helped either way. Wont be back.

Went to Lee Valley to get a hinge for one of our kitchen cupboards. The lady that helped us (sorry didn’t get her name and it isn’t on the cash register receipt) was amazing. She took the time to make sure that we got the correct one and is so good at what she does. Beyond happy with our experience! Thank you so much!!

I've been shopping here when they were in Toronto many years ago. Since they opened this store in Winnipeg it's been such bonus. This is by far my favourite store for wood working goods, tools, hardware, books and so much more, they have so many odd items and quality tools and hard to find items. This is like a toy store for wood workers and pretty much anyone, old and young alike.

Disappointed. I ordered a Christmas present on December 12th in-store as the item I wanted wasn't available. The clerk assisted me with ordering the item and assured it would be here by today, December 20th. I have recieved no communication so I decided to call the store to follow-up on my item. The clerk on the other end couldn't find my order and was unable to help. I politely requested if they could call me back when they got my order sorted out on their end, and the clerk told me "it wasn't their end that needed sorting." Again, I repeated - call me back when you are able to sort my order out.I receive a call back now that my item didn't make it on the truck so it isn't available. I only found this information out because I called and followed-up. Not only did this company promote anything ordered before December 19th would be here for Christmas (I ordered December 12th), but they weren't even going to call me to inform me my order wasn't available for pick-up.Now I have to waste my time to go and process a refund for an item that I was promised, and begin the search for a new Christmas gift 4-days before Christmas.Don't promise something you can't achieve. I will not be back.

I went into the store on Nov 2 to order parts for a hose reel rack that is leaking. I saw Shawna, the Specialty items person and she was superb to dealt with - very helpful and explained how to replace the parts. The parts were ordered at no charge since the rack has a 25 year warranty. This store sells high quality products.
