I want to preface this message by stating that the McWilliam staff especially Tiffany have been super kind and are nice people.
However kindness and a smile doesn’t put the blanket over poor business practice and that is why I’m compelled to write this review,
To start I bought a car from this dealership in March of 2024, it is now September 25th 2024 and it has now been 5 visits to this dealership with problems.
When I bought the car I attempted to negotiate with the manager on the price, he told me they were firm and didn’t have any budget to negotiate, so instead we negotiated with accommodations for the car, a new door handle (was cracked, fell off and was re attached with epoxy) the cup holder had plastic parts missing, and there had been a spill in a cup holder that we had asked to be cleaned upon pickup, additionally we wanted new key fobs as they were also falling apart. The GM had only replaced the key fobs upon purchase and I want to make it clear, I am a firm believer in fair negotiation and wouldn’t have bought this vehicle if those promises couldn’t have all been fulfilled on their end. I spent about a month calling and the same story every time, “that they were waiting for those parts to end up in a junk yard so they could source it for cheap”. I eventually gave up, still upset but figured it wasn’t worth my time hassling a never ending story…
My car had a couple problems off the lot that displayed a couple weeks after purchase, I can’t say for sure this was on Mcwilliam. I purchased this car late March and weather was still cool so during my test drive the AC was not on. Once weather got warmer I quickly realized that the AC was broken and took my car in, the GM told me it came down to my expense as they sold the car as is, however I don’t think this was fair business practice as testing the AC in the early spring was inapplicable. The GM eventually agreed to wave the charges and said the AC needed a recharge so I took the car in and had it fixed, the AC lasted another month and I took it back in explaining that they didn’t do it correctly, this is when the GM told me that AC recharge works on a spectrum suggesting that if 10/10 is a full recharge then they only did it 8/10 so I trusted him and he recharged it again and about another month later it stopped working, so lastly I brought the car in and was very firm I was aware that something more was wrong.
So it’s September 25th today and I went to go pick my car back up and they replaced the AC condenser. I was very happy with this news until I went back into my car to find out it had been left unlocked and ransacked. Everything stolen, change, $150 Bailey Nelson sunglasses, a MagSafe car mount phone charger, another cigarette phone charger, an auxiliary cord with the iPhone adapter, and worst of all my garage door opener, my address is on my registration that is in the glove box so now I have to worry about my garage being broken into until I can have someone come in and reprogram the system which will be another expense on my end. The managers response to resolving the problem was offering me an $120 oil change in compensation…
It’s safe to say I’m frustrated, a mouse chase of problems ultimately led to me loosing many valuables for a simple mistake of forgetting to lock a customers car. At this point if I could’ve gone back and made the decision to buy a private sale used car or chosen a different dealership I would have. Do better Mcwilliam.

Tiffany is wonderful! She sat down with my fiancé and I and explained everything relating to the trucks we were interested in- from the Carfax, to the financing options, to the warranty. Overall, I feel there is a lot of transparency at this dealership which you don’t find often.
