“If you want the best sausage, beef jerky, steaks, pepperoni etc, etc. My Grandfather started coming here in 1960 he is 97 and said it is the same high quality European recipes used today. I just turned 21 and I think this is an excellent meat store very nostalgic atmosphere and awesome tasting food. The staff is awesome. Doesn't get any better than this.”

“An ideal place for all kinds of meat. No doubt, the shop is still living up to its name as one stop meat shop. Maybe I will add this: you can also get different kind of fish at the store. Such as cat fish, tilapia fish, crooker etc. It's good to know that they are maintaining the high standard of hygiene expected of food store. Their items are cheap also.”

“Best Oxtail prices. The meat cutter just needs to master the art of cutting the oxtail thinner maybe if it is frozen we would get cleaner and better cuts. Oxtails is not meant to be thick and chunky.”

“Metro meats is located on 121 Euclid street in the historic Point Douglas area of Winnipeg on the corner of Euclid st @ Grove ave. There is free street parking available. The store is small but has a wide variety of products including fresh meats, soda, candy, bread, and household items. They also sell lottery tickets. Great place and friendly service.”
