About Portage Place
Portage Place is a mall with a lot of stores gone, creating a real sketchy environment despite police nearby. It is okay for Winnipeg, though the out-of-commission fountain is depressing. There are still a few shops and a restaurant available for those who work nearby. The Polopark area is interesting with new shops, is really clean, and is definitely worth checking out. Plans to renovate are promising. The mall serves as a venue for events like the Fringe Festival or film productions, which can quite transform the space. However, security priorities are sometimes questioned, focusing on minor issues over more concerning individuals.

Was good but miss the old building and the ability to use the skywalk

I went to service Canada and it was a lovely experience. Pretty quick. Portage place was sad to see. I'm putting these photos out there so hopefully they will be preserved as part of portage place history.

It's under construction right now but it was a good place to browse and stay safe and warm
