I have visited this a few times and unfortunately am disappointed in the customer service at this location. Most of the staff are rude and act like they would rather be at home. Cashier Kate is particularly rude, unpleasant, disgruntled and unhappy. I understand people have bad days, but customer service should still be a priority.

Was there today. Witnessed a physical altercation of someone shoplifting and the force the security guard in pursuit was completely unnecessary for both parties involved. Most items were recovered but cereal, poptarts and lil kid snacks 😠prob not even $20 worth of items. Hurts my heart that this location goes to these extremities over food in a low income area. Some child is going without their snacks right now. Shame on Safeway. Won't be shopping here again.
Putting the security guards life in harm's way unnecessarily. He needs to go home too. The complete disregard about everyone involved in this Situation disgusts me.
Oh yeah I don't appreciate my cashier at customer service tripping over 0.04 cents. Making me tap my card for 0.04 cents was ridiculous.
