I phoned at 4pm to ask if the pharmacist could prescribe antibiotics for a UTI, after being told by the folks at Rexall it was too late in the day to speak to a pharmacist. The man who answered assured me they could take care of me and was very professional and polite. When I arrived, I was greeted by the same man and I asked if there was a bathroom near by. He told me it was out of order… well he must have sensed my terror. This man HUSTLED to get me looked after quick. Huge thank you to this man, whose name started with A. I was at the end of my rope buddy but that gesture lifted me right back up.

It seems every time I go into that Fresh Co at least 10% of the shelves are either empty or what little stock they have is right at the back by the wall. I am beginning to suspect that the are the last store in Winnipeg to be restocked so some goods run out befor it's this store's turn for restock. I may live only a few blocks away but I am more likely to just get on a westbound #15 and go to the SuperStore or the Wholesale Club instead. The distance from Sargent to the doors of SuperStore is about the same distance from Sargent to the doors of Wholesale Club. Both are Loblaws outfits and the Wholesale Club is the Cash & Carry location for Winnipeg. Instacart delivers for both of these stores.

Please note this store is no longer a Safeway. It's now a FreshCo. Shopped there today. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean. I would shop there again.
