Just another Canadian grocery store which reflects the same absolute discontent and a lack of respect for Canadian consumers, like all the rest of them. Fresh produce section most of the time looks like the "left over past sell by date" produce from the Sobey's down the road was dumped here to sell to their customers. Product selection is shrinking fast and basically remains limited to the overpriced sub quality Compliments range. The meat section is insanely expensive. Furthermore, law abiding citizens are paying absorbent prices to make up for the shrinkage because criminals are simply allowed to leave the store with unpaid goods.
Well what are you gonna do? They are all the same in Canada. Any advantage to the consumer is pure coincidence.

Favorite place to shop.lots of parking friendly cashiers .
Always seem to get in Wes's line..but, haven't seen him there in awhile,courteous and efficient..
Kate was my cashier last evening..she's been in Canada for 1 year. Smiling, friendly.. cheerful..
Safeway has rearranged aisles so often in the last little while that it now takes more time,and I have to frequently ask where products have been moved to..
Quite often I leave without finding what I came in for .

Ok overall. But won't shop there anymore.
No cashiers after 9 anymore!
Some of us can't use the self check out. So I walk out and go elsewhere now as I usually have to shop later on.
