What can be said about a corporate brand outlet. Since Sobey's took them over the place has become less a neighborhood centre and more a profit driven outlet. It's not had, but many of the friendly touches are long gone. The only big difference between super store and the Safeway is convenient location. I can walk to this place, but I find myself hitting the Super Store just as often now.

Great staff. I have the idea that some have been there a long time. Very friendly and talkative and appreciate polite costumers. Only 4 stars because the are attracts some junk customers but that speaks to the great staff. Their friendly and professional.

I’ve found fruit flies inside the packaging of bakery products produced in-house twice in 3 months. I saw them while still in the store, and reported both instances to the manager. This has now been reported as a health code violation.

There are several other supermarkets with better prices or more variety of products. But this Safeway is strategically located so lots of people in the area can have simple access to some groceries.

I have been a regular shopper at Safeway Tuxedo for over 4 years and it is one of my go to grocery stores. One of the best meat departments in the city. Produce is always fresh. Bakery has great desserts and bread selection. Pharmacy is quick and efficient. Lot of parking and there is Shoppers Drug Mart and Liquor store in the same complex which is really convenient.

Every single time my mother, brothers sisters or any native shop here we are openly followed around by the security and floor walkers. We’ve been customers here for over 40 years and know most of the staff. Very insulting and degrading to be so openly disrespected on our own homeland.
