I received excellent service at the happy cooker. I was happily guided by a nice staff member to a gift for my partner. She listened to what I needed and helped me find something within my budget. So nice to shop in a store with knowledgeable staff who are happy to help. I will be back for more!

Bought a Miyabi knife and absolutely loved it. To protect my purchase I returned and asked about knife bags. The staff member suggested a magnetic flap that they used themselves. It was much cheaper and I really only needed for one knife.After using the flap for a month or so I was away and returned to find the flap completely stuck to the blade. After removing the flap had discoloured the blade so I returned. The staff member accepted no responsibility and after three attempts to move the discussion toward having the knife repaired I was left with no alternative but to leave the store.After more than #0 years of shopping at this location I must now turn away and shop elsewhere.

This store has every gadget you can thunk ofBut it has a lot of high end kitchen ware as well. Very knowledgeable staff.

The return policy is terrible. I bought a bread cutter and didn’t even try it out. Put a piece of bread on the bottom and didn’t like how it slid. Didn’t even try to cut it or anything. Bring it back 14 days later and they won’t let me return it said I used it because there’s a couple crumbs but never let me explain. I would never go back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Don't shop here! I got into trouble when I tried to return the knife because I bought the wrong model. The assistant told me that because of the financial accounting problem, I could not refund the knife, but could only replace it, but there was no model I needed! The clerk or manager gives me a note to use when I need it. The first time this happened in Winnipeg, I returned it the next day and the package was not opened! Seriously suspect that the store has the problem of racial discrimination!

I thought they were nice people :(I used to be there regular customer, cuz I work at the restaurant.But recently when I visited there, the salesman was trying to start argue with the other customer, yelling at them and they ended up leaving.I was so disappointed with what they have done to customer, so I just dropped down the items I was going to buy and left that place as well.I don't want my money to go to someone runs business like them.

Never going back there again after spending all my credits.The guys there working today were so rude and yelling at me for asking for a price match on a blender from the official online store. I tried to ask for online price match a couple days ago and they denied my request because it's not an official online website. So I just requested a refund. But they wouldnt give me my money back but instead they just gave me a credit. So I went back there today to spend my $800 credit, and one blender was displayed as $50 more expensive than the Vitamix official website and I asked If I can get a price match, since this time it was a price difference from the actual website and the guy there started yelling at me for asking for a price match so often. This was only the second time I had asked about a price check, not only that but it was infront of a bunch of other customers and my girlfriend didn't even know what to do! She felt so anxious being yelled at by two full grown men!! I can't believe this just happened to me. I just asked for what every customer should ask for, especially when I've spent so much money there before this!I have spent more than $5k there. And that's how I was treated for asking $50 price match. They are only nice to you when you are actually willing to spend a lot of money,. Never ask for price match or discount otherwise they will yell at you lol.

This store really has a wonderful selection of kitchen items, I was looking for a couple of cast iron pans and they had the brand names and sizes I was looking for, however the gentleman that "helped" me was the most condescending, conceited and arrogant piece of work I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He really should not be dealing with the public, as I left without purchasing what I had come in to buy, simply because I could not get myself to buy from such a jerk! I did spend a few minutes looking around and was fortunate enough to also speak with the lady (dark hair) and she really was lovely to deal with and took the time to explain the difference between the products i had questions about. I would probably go back to this place, as I felt their selection was pretty decent and I felt the prices were reasonable for the quality, however would flat out refuse to deal with the man. If he is your only option there when you go in , just walk out and try another day. All he will do is tell you that your are doing everything wrong, only he knows how to do things properly, will talk over any questions you may have and in general is unbelievably rude.
