I really liked my experience with U-haul: the courtesy of the staff, the clear explanations, the speed of the service, a practical vehicle for moving and the affordable cost of the service. I would definitely use U-haul again.

The little covered trailer was covered in snow, dirt , and frozen slush, but that was understandable since it had snowed recently, followed by an extreme cold snap.
The morning operator used a can of de-icer to free up the roll-up door and the door latch mechanism and made sure that it all worked well enough before I left.
Both the morning and afternoon operators were very helpful and polite.
The covered trailer worked very well to transport our bulky item and protected it from the extreme weather conditions.

All went well, and no disappointments or nasty surprises were found at all. The move went just fine because we had the right U-haul vehicle for the job. Thanks!

The process was seamless and smooth. Just one thing to note on the CDW part.
I’ll suggest your team make this money refundable or part of it refundable if the truck doesn’t have any issues on return. I bet you guys will make more money on the CDW insurance because drivers will be willing to pay for it without thinking too much or considering losing about 20$ when the truck comes back intact.

Staff here are absolutely wonderful, extremely helpful and accommodating, and they genuinely care about those that rent from them. 10/10 recommend this facility, I cannot say enough good things about my experience renting from this location and after personally renting from and dealing with them, I wouldn’t store invaluable belongings anywhere else.

Daniel was amazing. When I got there to pickup my reservation there were 12 other people in the store and Daniel was the only one working. His 2 co-workers were ill/absent and he was able to help everyone with everything that they needed with great professionalism and speed. This guy deserves a raise!

Another crazy experience with U-Haul. I was planning to move out of the province and booked a 16ft truck from them a week before my moving day. The day before, they called to say they didn’t have a truck available in the whole province for me. They just don’t care. Stuck last minute, I had to go with their U-Box option. After waiting a week, the boxes finally arrived. I booked movers to help with unloading, but surprise! Someone from the Winnipeg Regent branch had put U-Haul locks on the boxes and kept the keys. I went around to several branches looking for help, only to be told it was my problem now. After wasting a ton of time, I ended up cutting the locks to finally unload the boxes. U-Haul seems to care the least about their customers. Being a giant in the field, they act like they don't care about you at all. Think twice before using this amateur company’s services.
