Prices of things seems insane. I saw a mug with a dollarama price tag for $1.00 still on it but valve village was selling the item for $2.00!! Lol wut?

The place is organized and clean with proper security measures to avoid theft and other crimes possible. They also offer a friendly environment to the customers.

Two days ago I was accused of oooking like someone who shoplifted there n I got told to get out of the store n security was called infront of my little girl. I was upset how the lady handled it n when I asked for explanation she said plz don’t use that card on me about racial profiling. She’s like “you people” always do that. Well hello look what happened to me she embarrassed me infront of customers n accused me of someone else’s n causing a scene infront of my daughter n she looked scared. After I explained n she apologized but this I hope it doesn’t happen to another indigenous women who gets wrongfully accused “because you look like someone who stole before”. I recorded the video. Shared it on my fb. I will never go there again.

The prices on some items are way too high, DVDs should be priced at $2.00 or 3 for $5.00 not $4.00 thats insane, half the time they already too scratched and don't work. So for the risk we are taking, the price should reflect that. I also found the same pair of jeans in the same condition for 2 different prices, so I'm not sure what their criteria is for pricing. The one pair was $17.99 and the other was $10.99. This is supposed to be a thrift shop and prices don't reflect that. People donate clothes to them for free and they are making insane markups. How about give back to the people a little more? Without the people value village would not exist.

It is nice with 2 option paying the self checkout or teller. I don't like how there's no change room. Seen ppl changing in aisle. Kinda weird but ok. Watch out for bugs. Wash your clothes at home asap. thanks

Busy and very messy. Only 2 cashiers now. Its changed to be self checkout also. Prices are crazy, very expensive for items. This is not a retail store for new items. On a positive note they did have some good Halloween items. 2/5

Since Walmart bought VV it's insane and terrible. Everything is way too expensive for a donated item. I found countless items prices HIGHER than their original price. For example, ikea dishware. Then, I found free promo items priced for more than a few dollars. A set of custard dishes were $10 when they are the free cups that come with costco puddings???? It was gross. Like, greedy, tacky and taking advantage of others gross.

Always fun to shop here. Wish the change rooms were still open and the horror book section would be better if more of a selection was there.

A massive space with a lot of product. Not as organized as Value Village stores in other parts of the country.

These reviews could be turned into a drinking game. 1 shot of rum for "No change rooms". 2 shots of whiskey for "Prices are too high". 3 shots of vodka for "Other stores are better". 4 shots of tequila for "Everything is dirty, broken and torn." 1 pint of beer for "Security/staff follow you". 1 bottle of wine for "The store is filthy/disgusting/gross". Have fun and stay out of the driver's seat when you're done.

Great place. Extremely affordable items are sold here. Go to shop for newcomers and staff were friendly.

Lots of variety but some things are over priced. When I was there today I found a pair of ladies pants that a soiled pocket. It was left looking "crunchy" which is rather gross.

Way too expensive for being a thrift store. Saw things for sale here that were originally from Dollarama and the price Calue Village had on them was more than it was brand new from Dollarama. Support other thrift stores if you can that don't have insane prices.
