Not happy at all with no longer supplying carts so customer can shop. I don’t carry cash so don’t have loonies to put in your carts most stores in Alberta including Walmart have done away with the locked carts why are you forcing it here? Doesn’t make sense!!!

If it was able to give this store no stars at all, I’d do it in a heartbeat. I can’t fathom how incredibly racist some of the employees are in this company. I was in the self checkout with my sister, with a cart of groceries, we dressed presentable and it was 30 mins till closing time. When we are scanning the items through, the employees gave me and my sister suspicious looks, surrounding the exit as if we are going to run off with $40 of groceries, all while there's seven other people scanning their items. We understand the fact that we are people of colour and that stigma will never leave us, for as long as we live, but there was a time we’re we used to feel safe in this store. I’m genuinely saddened that we have to be treated inhumanly every time we shop for essential items for our house. We are not thieves, I’m a student at the U of M working on my degree, while my sister is working 2 jobs and has no reason to steal or jeopardize our futures. I’m not only angry but considering perusing legal action.

It's a Walmart. Decent enough. But please! Walmart! Please, for the love of god, MAKE YOUR EMPLOYEES WEAR DEODORANT! I could barely walk down one aisle and later stand at the checkout with the cashier. The odour is super offensive and VERY off-putting.I don't care if it's cultural. It's proper hygiene in a workplace...especially one that services the public.

I hate the fact that we do our shopping there and noone knows how to bag your groceries. Even if you are doing a big shopping they just pile it up at the end and wait for you to bag your own stuff. No customer service any more and its really sad.

I have a very bad opinion about this store, both the managers and the staff are pathetic, apart from the fact that it is a store in which the goods are missing from the shelves, there is also the mess that is almost piles of expired items. which is still on the shelves and many others

Couldn’t come in at 9:53 to grab one item, would have been in and out well before 10:00 pm, I’m not usually that last minute shopper but needed something in a pinch, if it says open until 10 why deny a paying customer?

No exchange or refund if I don’t have an original CREDIT CARD even if I had a original receipt. No hope for customer service. Why doesn’t Walmart train Customer service people? They need to know Walmart return policy before working in customer service department. Because of the customer service people, I avoid this Walmart to go.

“Customer service closes at 9” ok? Then why is the store open till 10? Shouldn’t you advertise that before people show up after 9 o’clock for returns? What a waste of time.

This Walmart needs some training for their security guards. A guard was harassing and verbally abusing a customer in line for the till; she was behind my wife. He proceeded to accuse her of stealing in front of her child and when my wife asked him to stop speaking to her like that, he proceeded to throw insults and accusations to my wife. Telling her she must teach our kids the same way. The gentleman in front of my wife also told the security guard to stop speaking to the lady that way.This behaviour is grotesque and regardless of what is happening, there shouldn't be anyone with such low emotional intelligence or communication skills working as a security guard. Whoever employs this person definitely needs to train him better. Men in positions of power tend to take out their own insecurities on others and it shows when they aren't trained how to interact with people.

Horrible management. The worst customer service management. The old lady with long gray hair said the clearance item are not returnable, but it is returnable item said on your policy. Please be professional to deal with customer. Your manner and the way to treat people are horrible. Walmart shouldn’t hire people like her. She makes Walmart image badly.

I bought a nice hoody for my little daughter, she liked it but it a little bit tight. lost my receipt, so they refused the return. I'm pretty sure they did the return for other people without showing their reciept.Why they refused to me I don't know, perhaps because I look different.

Witnessed an aboriginal woman about 5’5 tall and 120 pounds get thrown and dragged around by one of the security guards. He did this, ripped her bag open, and saw one box of hair dye and her personal clothing (used, no tags on it and clearly not new). Do better. Don’t let a 6 foot tall curry eating male throw small women around. I wish I could post his photo. Check Facebook ? I tagged Walmart. At least he gave her a new bag without charging her a few bucks for it lol

Great store...but please manager, the area where you store the carts need to be cleaned. Carts go from this very dirty environment...and into the store. This is not safe/ hygienic.Please ensure this space is clean.

Even though I verbally expressed my thanks and appreciation, I feel my compliments deserve a review. Ryan, Seasonal Department, Southdale Branch, went out of his way to find the two outdoor wicker egg chairs I wanted. After measuring the box size, Ryan came to my car to ensure the box would fit in my small SUV...and it did...but only one at a time. Ryan put my mind at ease ensuring the second chair would be stored safely for my return trip to pick it up. When I returned the next day, the chair, as well as an outdoor area rug I purchased, were waiting for me. Mark, along with another individual (sorry, I do not know his name) made sure the box was handled with extra care because of the tight fit in my vehicle and they put the second chair in my vehicle with the same care. Great customer service that deserves this compliment, along with my thanks and appreciation. Customer service is definitely one of the reasons I shop at the Walmart Southdale branch!
