Totally shocked when she told me $700 for a hair cut, color and blow out. Nice place but priced too high for my budget.Service: Hairstyling

Beware: This salon owner price gouges customers. I completely agree with previous posts on unclear pricing, I was over charged ($165- for a wash, dry, and deep condition) AND the quality of the result did not match the price of the service. I would not recommend this salon under any circumstance. This salon experience was the worst hair experience I have had! The Stylist will not listen to you (even while she burns your ear) which is sad and appalling. Most people want to support small businesses, but the lack of professionalism, damage, and inappropriate behavior/business practices are a bridge too far.

I’ve been going to this salon for over 17 years because of Cheryl’s talent but most importantly because of her dedication to her craft. She is a great colorist and stylist. However, in my opinion, her greatest talent is her ability to cut hair. I’ve had many compliments from strangers about my cut and color from Chicago to California to Hawaii. I thank them and say if you want something similar come to Abingdon, MD!!Services: Hairstyling

Over priced did not get the color I wanted. Cheryl is a lair, she rips people off. I am surprised she still in business. Don't go there. Coloring gray is not that complicated, she make it sound like it was hard. For all the years in the business she should be able to do colors blind folded. If you don't believe me read all the bad reviews, I wish I did before I went there.Service: Hair coloring

First time great job!!($85.00) the 2nd time, I asked for the price before I got the rinse. She never answered. I had to ask two more times. Finally she answered and said for a rinse, wash, wrap and curl and cut was $195.00. I told her that's why I asked you before you started. No prices listed!! So we discussed the price and I told her I had $130.00 and she took that. We talked about if there were any discrepancies we could discuss for further appointments. The 3rd appointment was suppose to be a wash, wrap and curl , however she never wrapped my hair. It look good at the end. 3 days later no shape or curls in my hair. I called her on day 4 and told her.my hair looks terrible. She told me I had to pay $20 for a recurl. If she didn't missed a step (wrapping my hair) my hair would have lasted. She told me she would take $20 off my next appt. 2 1/2 weeks later. I have to go to work with my hair not done. After I just paid $85.00 just 4 days before. Over pricing and skipping wraps is why I will never return to her shop!!!

I forgot to mention, I check her styling prices on line and for the wash/curl/ style was 50.00. I went in for a wash/wrap and curl, She never wrapped my hair and charged me $85.00. She's money greedy and she's the only person that works there.

This salon is impressive with its setting and updated- top of the line sinks, super elegant. But, there was no menu for pricing after I asked how much a haircut, style and wash would be the hairdresser gave me no reply. She was constantly on her personal phone and never gave me any response while I was asking questions.I feel that there was a lack of professionalism and certain degree of misleading the client especially with not expressing the prices for a haircut. My hair is medium size, above shoulder length, and did not do the haircut that I asked for.Again there was no interaction between hairdresser and client just client and hairdresser. I feel like that is very important so that you can be the “total you” after leaving.I do not recommend this salon to anybody who really cares about their look.Services: Hairstyling

She started cutting my hair at 9:00 am and 3 hours later it wasn't to my liking. The other gir took over to fix it. It was a bad expefience for 86 dollar. Too expensive to ruined my hair. I don't mind paying more if they do their job correctly.Service: Haircut

Took my 10 year old for her hair to be texturized in December, was surprised at the 220$ total but paid after being told it was because of the gloss ( never ask for) and the whole head. Fast forward to today , touch up maybe 2 inches , 195$! I ask why , as the price is much lower on her website especially for children, and was told “ the deep conditioning “ . I read all the reviews on crazy prices and was hesitant but still gave it a chance. Decent work although my daughter was in tears in car because the steam or heat hurt her. This was dismissed as “ her being scared” which she is because her scalp is sensitive. Lesson learned . I have no problem paying for services but the prices are astronomical with no reasonable explanation.

I was reluctant to try the salon because of all the bad reviews but figured I would give it a chance for my 10-year-old. We went in December to get a texturizer. I was stunned after her hair was relaxed and blow dried trimmed and straightened to come to the cash register and be charged $220. I ask why and was told because of the gloss she put on that I had never asked for but I paid and tipped $30 as she assured me that next time it would not cost that much. Fast forward to yesterday A touchup on my 10 year old child cost $195 again I ask why and this time was told because of the deep conditioning. Even on her website it states children's relaxers are like $70 so it seems as if she is charging full price for a 10 year old and then some. Please believe all the reviews of the extreme price gouging as well as not so friendly atmosphere . My daughter was in tears in the car and she just turned 10 because of how much heat was close to her scalp and she has been burned before, yet even then she wasn't in tears. I would not say her work is bad but it is definitely not wonderful. There is nothing that justifies these astronomical prices.
