Don't expect any sympathy if your pet requires prescription food. If Banfield isn't open, they will not help you unless you have a prescription written by Banfield. Management will be rude and unhelpful. Don't trust management with your pet's health.

In terms of PetSmart there are two reasons I come here. The first primarily is for the healthcare. I use their Banfield service in order to take care of my dog and I always been very pleased with the service there. All the workers that I've dealt with have been very friendly, the doctors have been straightforward and knowledgeable and they always seem to do the best they can to take care of my dog. It definitely feels like they are there and paying attention and as concerned about the well-being of a pet as they should be.
The other side of PetSmart is of course the actual pet supplies. And since I only have a dog I can really only speak to the quality of the goods there. But there is a wide variety of things for your dog, tons of different dog food options both wet and dry, along with a variety of dietary or medical brands that you might need if your dog is suffering from a specific ailment. I'm pretty sure this extends to cat food as well. They also have basically every kind of tool or toy or treat that you could ask for. Bedding, grooming tools, housing, they have it and they have options for it.
Essentially I've never been to PetSmart and found that they didn't have what I needed.

I brung my dog for a hair cut the first time, they ruin her hair, they clean her face either, they don’t know how to cut yorkies hair I’m NOT coming back I’m really upset

Used them for grooming my dog. They butchered the poor guy. Random short spots all over. Cut one of his nails too short and he was clearly bleeding before I got there. And his face looks ridiculous. The groomer told us over the phone that they had accidentally cut part of his face too short so they tried to even it out, but then they laughed a bunch about it. None of it was particularly funny and my dog has been acting sullen since we picked him up.
