“One of the BEST Liquor Stores in Maryland, with a great variety of liquors. Our favorite is “Trigos Coquito” a Puerto Rican after dinner drink of Rum and Coconut Milk. Once you try this excellent drink, you will come back to Jimmie’s Paddock for more. The owners are excellent people and employees are the most friendly people that you will ever meet. You will find a great selection of liquors of all types.”

“me and my mom will come here for what i call 'fort belvoir fridays' it is always such a good time i get excited seeing the base (the military was tough at times but i always made it through and i definitely think it improved my life one quote that has stuck with me so much is colin powell 'No matter how hungry you all are, lieutenant, you must never appear hungry. No matter how terrified you are, lieutenant, you must never look terrified. Because if you are scared, tried, hungry and cold…. they will be scared, tired, hungry and cold." i really feel for people on that one when i was in the signal corps doing morning formations) and i have a deep appreciation for the military as well to think of soldiers standing up for the country values or the fun side too being overseas living in germany or hearing of people getting korea as their duty station i have somewhat of a understanding for the lifestyle (i sympathize when i see people who look like they are hanging on to their job and where they live or think it's cool when i see the longterm personnel who adapt to that way of living pt the unit many years of commitment and even 'indoctrination' where too mil and affiliates can solve all my problems) um one thing that'll be real cool here is when we look around we'll also see other guests and i'll be reminded of like being in tradoc and getting your civilians or nco's and being stationed somewhere else it was georgia & germany mostly for me ft meade too the cashiers here have been phenomenal with their professionalism and demeanor a guy like a statue i'll definitely daydream about stuff like the hot gas station food or when i was in the barracks so this will be a pitstop i had mused about meeting people (i am pretty anchored here and thought i could be useful but then again i am a veteran and out) but heard warnings about that or also not wanting complaints for example”

“Best wine selection in the United States. They make trips to Germany every year and find such treasures as Kaiserstuhl Weißherbst. Because it's grown on a extinct volcano, that is called the Kaiserstule, it has a one of a kind taste and limited production. Great stores and truely Merchant Class Specialities.

“I think this is my preferred wine and spirit shop. Great for the go-to’s and even a great place to try local craft beers and spirits. I went on a ale, ciders, seltzer and sours journey here . They have so much variety. And rotate the locals seasonal selections. Love that I can find Mully’s, Calvert Brewery and other Maryland companies here. And the owners are friendly and helpful always pleasant. They have tastings pretty often. One thing i love is how they’ll randomly have a good selection of single canned options for you to try items without having to buy a whole 4 or 6pk.”

“I visited today 7/12/2025 around 10:44 AM, and the pleasant Cashier asked if I needed a bag, took my bag and packed it. I also received a detailed receipt that showed what I purchased and the total amount paid (this was a first especially in this area). Esquire Liquors has a great selection of beverages , mixers, great prices and great customer service!”

“When I was in MD visiting family, Action Liquor was the choice to purchase wine. They have great Moscatos! That is one of my favorite types of wine. They also had some interesting Chiantis. The people working there are so nice. It is a very small place, looks family owned and isn't that expensive at all. Though they are way across the country for me now, I'll never forget their pleasant attitudes and interesting selections.”

Tells me I have a young face so he needs to make sure. ( trying to keep me coming lol) Prices are good. Always clean and well stocked. If they are missing something they are great with ordering it just for you!”

“Without a doubt one of the best ABCs around!! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable on the products sold. Except for that one time, but we're not going to count that against them. Always random finds (gems) and great conversations. Only wish it was closer haha, but that's just me being selfish.”
“Lots of unique beverages and samples at the World Market. I love how they thoughtfully create a holiday ambience. I noticed. Sparkling rose tea - all natural & no sugar caught my eye. I bought it immediately. They had samples of coffee & tea at the front of the store. I tasted both and found them pleasant & unique in taste. Their Halloween items of floating candles, accessories, and plates were eye catching yet not tempting enough to purchase at regular prices. Definitely a place worth checking out and trying some samples of coffee & tea.”
