“Woah baby. Consignment lovers, eat your heart out. Fia's offers a real life treasure hunting experience with items that meet every budget and need. Fia's infectious personality will leave you feeling like family. Come for the treasures, stay for the memories. This trip, I found a vintage Nike quarterzip windbreaker, a Chanel cross body, a crochet set, and a Harry Poter novel. Talk about eclectic!”
“Small but nice thrift store that feels like a boutique. Good place to donate your best stuff. And they give all their proceeds to nonprofits that serve people. Inspiring.”
“I've been visiting this shop for over a year now and I find their wares to be consistently well-currated and organized. You can find some incredible bargains, especially for clothes and books. Or even unique collectibles and antiques for a reasonable price. It's a great community hub where you can feel good shopping second hand and supporting their ministries.”
“Well lit thrift store, big, you never know what you will find! We found some brand new sweatshirts my girls can wear with their uniform for school. We needed some things for costumes for a play and found what was needed. And I donated clothes and toys my kids had outrown. Win all around.”
“The volunteers are so sweet and helpful. There are so many treasures to be found. Everything I purchased was lovely. I was so impressed I decided to become a volunteer in the store.”
“Great neighborhood thrift shop with friendly volunteers and a charitable mission. They have a good selection of items sans furniture. The only downside is the small size of the place which can sometimes feel claustrophobic when it's busy (which it usually is), or impossible to get into when they're running an end-of-season sale.”
“Very friendly staff, lots of clothes at good prices and also lots of shoes. I wish they had a larger plus size section but at least what they did have was well labeled. I found some good gems!”
“Best selection of any thrift store! Not just books & clothes. Lots of military memorabilia, sports gear, appliances, kids toys. separate jewelry and vintage boutique.”
“I will be donating 2 BIG BAGS OF SHOES IN CLOTHES to this organization for the 2nd time I love how they give back to the community I love that they give vouchers for items ppl donate for the ppl in need in I love that my clothes in shoes I didn’t want to throw away is going to be used by others makes me feel proud in I’m so happy for the opportunity to give back to the communities. I originate in MD but I love DC so I try to help everywhere but this is my favorite place for drop off”
“The offerings at this thrift shop are always of good quality - they often include designer clothing or classic household items. A variety of decorative items also appear, especially for holidays. The staff is always willing to help.”
“I stopped in to look at a hockey jersey and they did not have my size. They told me to come back the next day, and they had it. They sell things from local artists and the staff members are cool. Welcome to the neighborhood!”
“If you enjoy thrifting and finding deals, this is the place. Expect to spend some time here because there is a lot of excellent clothing to look through here at great prices. The owners were very friendly and honest people. I am so glad I stopped by.”
“This is a wonderful resource and treasure chest. I have found some great items here. Plenty of tools and kitchen ware. The two men who operate the store are extremely kind and helpful!!”
“I love shopping here. Love the personnel who work there! They are always helpful and welcoming! I donate to this store also because I know they put what I share on the shelf for others. Great thrift store!”
“As a donor, the process couldn't be easier: no inspection, just drop your stuff into the bins by the entrance. As a shopper, I have found luck with some of their kids' clothes and books, as well as some beautiful vintage glassware. Personally their adult clothing and shoes haven't caught my eye, which they dedicate 75% of the store to. I'd prefer a more curated adult clothing selection as I find the quantity overwhelming with too many items that I think no one is likely to buy.”
“This is a lovely church in Georgetown and just a short walk from M Street. I have been here twice now, once for a funeral and recently for a much more happier occasion, a wedding. It is beautiful inside and well worth a look if you find yourself this way or want to have a wedding here, or a funeral.”

“11/02/2024- The Best! I dropped off by seven(7) boxes of office merchandise! The drop off was easy! The staff(team) was pleasant, professional, courteous and caring! No fuss! No mess! Loved it! Thank you for being there when I needed you all. Donate! Donate! Give! Kindness!”
“Love this place, lovely family owned store. They're always so helpful. They pretty much have everything you need especially in an emergency. Best part is we get to keep money in our community over national brands. If you live near by and want them to have something that you know you'll continue to buy they are willing to get it to have it on hand for you (of course be reasonable).Just be careful walking in here as there is A LOT so make sure you are careful where you're walking.”

“I dont know if I just came on a good day or what but I had a great experience. The store was very clean and organized. I think maybe one corner near the mirrors was junky. I found $130 worth of good stuff at great prices. There were a couple t-shirts that were a bit overpriced but nothing too bad. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here but I would definitely make a stop if im ever in the area again”
“Beautifully curated consignment shop for a great cause! I LOVE that it's a women supporting women shop. Every time I go in, I'm so impressed with how beautifully the shop is designed. I want my house to look like the shop! The staff and volunteers are wonderful and helpful. Highly recommend!”
“Small, very nice volunteers, eclectic mix of things to sift through. A decent amount of women's clothes, some housewares, a few crafting items, one rack of men's clothes. Excellent reasonable prices.”

“Mid sized thrift store— clothing items are tagged with different colours for sizing and sorted by size. The little plastic tag barbs have different colours, which may or may not be associated with discounts. Each type of clothing is supposed to be one price- dresses are all $11.99, sleeveless tops $4.99. Fitting rooms are available but close 1-1.5 hours before the store closes. There is a kind of chaotic energy to this store (see books pic), along with some organizational quirks— eg the end caps on the housewares aisles were curated by colour.”

“Fantastic selection and wonderful prices! I was impressed by how much was packed into this shop, I’m fairly picky and walked away with a lot more than I usually do from the thrift. The clothing section is the real gem. I’ll certainly return!”
“I love this thrift store, first I have an Xbox 360 so I don’t have that much games for it so I asked my dad if I could go here and he said yes and I found so much 360 games but they were all 5.00 sadly but I picked up 4 games and 2 ds games ?”
“This is my favorite go to Thrift Store, since it is close to my home. It can get very busy at times, but I always find unique & needed things for myself, my home & others the times I hv gone there. They offer an additional discounts on certain days too, which is a bonus & if sign up , you will receive coupons to use that vary in amounts. I like that, as well as it allows me to buy more. Generally the prices for me are fair, bc I know my budget & stick to it. Everything I choose I check out thoroughly before heading to the checkout, because something's can not always be 100% without a flaw or too. The store has its busy times, especially on further discount days, & they have more self serve registers open than a cashier to check you out. They might have (2) cashiers for that, but they are usually fast at checking you out. I have never had any issues with the staff or Mgt. This store definatly has a variety of anything you can think of for yourself, your home & beyond. You must be patient when shopping here, or you might miss something special. I always enjoy going to Unique, as it is my shopping therapy. It is one stop shopping for me. The store is farely big & areas are designated for the things they carry, so pretty easy to navigate & see all in each area. Basically I have never gone here & not come out with goodies I couldn't live without. So if you are a Thrifter, & have not been here, check it out. The store for the most part can be organized, but the shoppers mess it up, the staff do their best to keep the merchandise areas orderly, & put out the merchandise in whatever area they are assigned too, but it has been times I noticed things out of order & waiting to be collected, carts are usually there if you get there early, but it has been times I had to wait on a cart too. All in all, you must be patient to have the Best shopping experience in my opinion. Happy Thrifting everyone! My favorite things to buy are unusual household items, small household items, nic nacs, vintage clothing, & anything unusual that you don't see everyday. It really just depends. I don't always go with something in mind. If I see something I like, I add in my cart, then when I hv finished, I decide what I will buy & put the other items back for someone else to enjoy. They do try & keep the store clean, but the customers make that hard & the furniture area is always a mess at times too. All in all I will continue to shop there, to find my can't live without goodies.”

“Every time I come to this store, I hope to see Anna. Everyone is kind but Anna makes sure you are straight. I didn’t FEEL like signing up for the rewards program. Anna insisted and told me to think of all the points I was missing. I still didn’t feel like it, but, Anna. She insisted and she has such a smile. I had to sign up. I would be wrong not to listen to sound judgement. I’m glad I stopped by today. I experienced great finds, signed up for the rewards program, and was greeted and sent off with that same consistent kindness.”
“Came by here last night and they had such a large selection of items in great condition. We were able to get some great finds and I honestly wish that I had more money for some of the other clothing I saw. I will 100% be coming back when I have some more money. The staff working last night were also very nice.”
“Really great finds and super friendly staff who go above and beyond! You can find some pretty cute items for good prices. The place was pretty organized when I went in, but the fun is also digging up treasures!”
