“Helpful and kind. Help me find the products I need and has everything well stocked. They can order specialty items as well for me. Great for large party quantity needs!”
“Haven't been in for a while! I love the renovations and seems to be better organized. Agree with another comment lines are long, but employees are very pleasant.”
“Excelente servicios para la comunidad hispana, en la tienda hablan español y tienen varios servicios disponibles para los clientes!Bilingual store that offers wonderful services and great customer support!”
“I was not a fan of Harris Teeter when they first opened, but they have really gotten their act together, I found myself thinking when I was in a hurry and deciding where to shop, ".... but if I go to the Harris Teeter, they run their cashiers and front-end "tight" and get you out faster than Giant...." that's quite a compliment for a customer to think that about check-out of a store, not a fan of the set-up design of Harris Teeter check-out though, but Giant leaves you waiting while their employees talk to each other, when they aren't even busy, Harris Teeter puts Giant to shame. I've seen some issues w/customer service at Harris Teeter, but Giant is worse by far. I find Giant so horrible that I was shopping at Safeway at Fairview before Harris Teeter opened up at Marketplace... I think Harris Teeter regular prices are a little too high, just like Giant and Safeway, BUT, Harris Teeter sales are GREAT. I find that my grocery bill is MUCH lower shopping sale items at Harris Teeter (and Safeway sometimes too) than Target or Walmart that don't have sales on their groceries like Harris Teeter and Safeway.... I don't like the refrigerated egg section of Harris Teeter because I've gotten eggs ruined from being frozen more than once. I like being able to grab old coffee grinds to compost from Harris Teeter Starbucks. I have grown to really like many of the employees at Harris Teeter, very sweet and caring and helpful. Join their club for gas discount points at BP, and clip ecoupons to use when you use your club card at checkout, totally worth it.”
“This is my favorite grocery store in the area. It is always neatly kept, the produce is always fresh, and they always have the dairy free heavy whipping cream substitute that my family and I like to use when preparing dishes that require a cream sauce. Also, the staff is always super helpful & to make matters even better, they have a Starbucks. What's special about a Starbucks you ask? Well, sometimes... in my history with chains being inside of other stores, the quality isn't as good as the actual stores bc they're licensed stores and aren't held to the same standard, and quality of the actual franchises. This Starbucks makes quality drinks every single time I've ordered from them that are comparable to the franchises.”
“This is our go to grocery place. Usually hubster does the grocery shopping, but sometimes we go together on a day off. We did that today. Monday during the day, it wasn't too crowded. They actually had 3 lines open, so that was great. Sometimes the cashiers here are very attentive and take their time, but they are always kind. The place is usually stocked well and the produce is usually good and fresh. I've found in some of the other fancier grocery stores in the area that the produce there turns quickly. But usually from Safeway it lasts. My favorite part about this location is the one manager is always working so hard. She's super on top of things. I've seen her opening lines, directing people, checking on her staff. She's absolutely a quality employee and a good leader of her team.”
“Grocery store wasn't busy. They have hot station, salad bar, pharmacy. If you are in rush, they have self check out lanes. I never really have any issues with the store such as customer service issues.”
“I was out running some errands after work and my daughter messaged me to pick up some chilled healthy queso. It is a favorite of ours and is used for snacking & cooking. I am never really sure where to look for it in the store so I asked an employee at the front of the store? I was told to look for the queso in a cooler on the wall in the back of the store with Mexican cheeses and other chilled dips. I made my way along the back wall until I saw the correct cooler. There were only 2 brands of queso on the shelves. They had Cacique Queso Blanco & Gordo's Cheese Dip. Both were 16 ounces and cost little over $5. The Cacique brand was familiar to me & had mostly the same ingredients as Gordo's. The difference was that the Cacique brand has canola oil in it something my daughter tries to avoid. So I got Gordo's & went to the checkout lanes. It was after 6 pm & they weren't very busy. I entered my Kroger/Harris Teeter phone number for store points & was quickly rung up. You enter the checkout lanes in Harris Teeter stores at an angle. For some reason this always makes me have to think which checkout lane I'm entering! Until next time be kind to each other. #harristeeter @yelpdc #grocerystore #quesodip”
“This is my favorite grocery store! Selections seems to be pretty similar to other stores. Service has always been great. Prices are competitive to other stores too. I love coming here to look at the cheese selection. The cheese lady is super nice! You can tell she really enjoys what she does and she's always willing to give you a sample of what you choose before you buy it!”

“Every time I shop at Giant when I go to the seafood counter, Marcus always greeted me with such warmth and great customer service. I have since moved out of Columbia. But I wish him the best and I hope he will get far at Giant Foods......May”
“This is a very exciting store! It showed up in the news when gangs of kidz were robbin' it blind!! They are funny too. Tonight an old fat "security" man was sitting on the rail by the front door, laughing at people trying to get in at 9:05 PM on Sunday. Those people should have seen the hours "posted clearly" on the door like in the photo I've attached.”

“My dad is on a soft diet so he wanted soups that are more puréed. Once on the soup isle, which looked very neat and nicely organized by the way. I looked for the regular size Campbell's split pea soup, creamy tomato etc. There were none there and only the larger Campbell's Chunky Soup cans. The prices for those were almost $5 a can. Progresso was $6. I couldn't believe how much cans of soup have gone up either. I guess that's why I've opted for other stores and haven't been here because they are more expensive then Giant now. I got the soup anyway but will opt to make his soup homemade from this point on. The cashier I had was very nice and the store was clean and didn't look cluttered as some other stores appear to be.”

“My brother is a pharmacist, so I know just how stressful the job can be, especially during a pandemic stricken year. I want to commend the Lynx Lane CVS Pharmacy Dept because all of my experiences have been wonderful. From visiting new doctors to new medications, getting my 'scrips filled has been nothing but seamless here. No matter the time of day, including the dreaded 5-6pm hour, I've yet to experience a line. Today's experience showed me just how attentive they are (again). When ringing me up, the nice tech noticed I had no refills left on my specific medication and offered to reach out to the prescribing doc's office. No need since I was meeting with the doc again soon to reup, but the proactive offer was certainly appreciated. That's the kind of tech I'd want filling my meds. FYI - not only can you walk up to the counter, they also offer drive through pick-up, with covid testing.”
“Local Grocery Store with decent prices. All the workers are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and usually always restocked every time I go shop there. I recommend the college students at UMBC shop there.”
“so the pharmacy may get overwhelmed at times but I have nothing but good things to say about the people I've encountered there.3 times in the last year the pharmacist has called to follow up on how we were doing on our new medication. The pharmacy counter has this lovely African American female that always has a smile on her face and something pleasant to say to everyone. I would not go anywhere else and I'm a very hard to please customer. I've been in sales over 40 yrs and know how I want to be treated!”
“I stumbled upon this store, 2 weeks ago...Never heard of it. I've been a WholeFoods customer for 20 years -- Green Valley Marketplace is, now, my new regular store! What's not to love? Amazing selection, great prices, friendly staff, and it's super clean! Love it! Glad I stumbled!”
