Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park, a vibrant hub celebrating the Chesapeake Bay's heritage, offers an engaging and interactive experience. Explore exhibits on Bay ecology, the local oyster economy, and Annapolis' maritime history, featuring displays on Bay Health and Annapolis Waters. The museum also showcases maritime-themed artwork in the Buchanan Bay Room Gallery, and provides beautiful views of the Bay. The AMM Park Campus, also known as the Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park, is a remarkable waterfront destination that blends natural beauty, maritime history, unique event space, and educational opportunities. The campus features the new Merrill Family 2,600 sq. ft. pavilion, a new 250-foot-long dock, classrooms, and a 1-mile hiking path. Visitors are pleasantly surprised by the museum's small yet impactful footprint, which provides great insight into the area's various industries beyond the Navy. The museum showcases the good, bad, and ugly of the past, while also highlighting the positive work being done for the future. Innovative technology elements enhance the visitor experience, making it a fun and educational destination. The museum and park also serve as exceptional venues for events, parties, and wedding receptions. The staff are known for their friendliness, responsiveness, and willingness to work with historians and the general public. The Fireworks from the Bay cruise on the historic skipjack, the Wilma Lee, is a popular attraction, offering a front-row seat to the stunning fireworks display.
We sat outside and ate lunch but it was a great place for that. The museum itself is small but super cool.

We stopped by here on our way into Annapolis with my 8 and 12-year-old. I was impressed with how interactive the employees and museum were. We spent about a hour here and enjoyed it. It’s nice to walk and get lunch nearby afterwards also!
