“Saw a Candlelight quartet performance at Maryland Hall. It was such a beautiful experience. The theater is beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the show at Maryland Hall.”
“I absolutely love this store! I always find something when I come in and always bring friends in when they are visiting and they always leave with something.
My husband and I were just married at the Paca House in downtown Annapolis and wanted to bring in local artists and companies into our wedding weekend. Kim actually has a print of the Paca House that we used in our welcome bags for guests staying in our hotel block.
I worked with their print and design specialist to have this specially made to have the timeline of our wedding on the pack of the postcard print and WOW did it come out beautifully! We were so happy with the support we got from them even though this is not what their shop really does. Everyone loved having this piece of art to take home with them and we love that it could be used as a gift and information for the weekend. And we are so glad we have the larger print in our home to memorialize our special weekend :)
Thank you, Gillian, for all your help! You were incredible and we are so grateful!”
“So happy to join the fun of Gallery 57 West’s Paint Party! The loveliest people hosted the party and took such good care of us. I’m looking forward to visiting the gallery again soon to have a longer look at all the artwork. Meeting the artists was unique and personal.”
“Me and my mom went into this store on a whim when we were exploring Annapolis. I’m so glad we did. There’s so much variety and styles that are offered. There’s something for everyone depending on your budget. The staff were/still are extremely friendly. Now that I’m back in PA, I’ve bought from their online shop multiple times and each time, the process has been smooth and not a single item has arrived damaged. They pack everything with care for shipping. The only thing I will mention is that sometimes the website understandably overestimates shipping costs (which have been partially refunded to me via the shop calling me) so don’t hesitate to order if you see something you love! I’ll continue to support this business when I’m ever in need of some unique kitchenware or decorations. I can’t wait to display/use everything once I have a home of my own! A must visit if you love pottery and you’re visiting Annapolis!”
“This is a great place, featuring the works of lots of different local artists. Plus the display changes frequently, so there's always something cool to see!”
“This is a fabulous gallery - a must-visit if you are visiting the city of Annapolis. This is a well-curated, contemporary, professional collection, always something new and standout in the works exhibited.”
“We found unique, historic photographs of Annapolis used to decorate our home from Annapolis Collection Gallery. When guests enter, they always stop to take a look and it usually sparks conversation. We received over the top customer service, and will continue to shop here as we grow our collection.”
“Very cute store and found some great items! Love that there’s a variety and that most items are handmade. Store is actually a lot bigger than it looks and a great place to find unique items and souvenirs from Annapolis. They have another store at the mall but this one seems to have a lot cooler items.
Recommend!”
“From a circular street around the Maryland State House, major streets radiate to form the historic district. It is said that Annapolis has more original 18th-century structures standing than any other city in the United States. If my walk around the many brick sidewalks in the area is proof. It seems that almost every house and building has a distinctive National Historic District plaque on it. The buildings were well-maintained and often brightly painted and ranged from homes, hotels, and churches. A number of nineteenth-century buildings are also included. The area is quite walkable, and one can head downhill later to find many interesting shops and restaurants at the dockside, including the oldest operating pub, the Middleton Tavern (1750), in the state. A signboard at the docks provides a map and listing of many of the historic sights. Parking requires using an online app and is not very straightforward but manageable. It is recommended that one start walking early to avoid the heat of the day.”
“Art La May,I purchased your painting of two herons. Your signature with thenumbers 262/1500 and another signature with the letter C circled appears under the first signature. It measures approximately 38 in X59 in. with the frame included. I bought it in your Annapolis gallery around1996. I have enjoyed that painting every single day since It's purchase. ( I'm 88 yrs. now)It gives me such peace and joy and appreciation ofyour talent.Thank you so much,Marie More(I now live in Milford,PA where you once lived)”
“I have had a soft spot for Nancy’s art since her early days in Annapolis many moons ago. Her new pieces of art and gifts on sale in her shop in Eastport are fabulous and collectors items. The shop is well worth a visit on a lovely sunny afternoon.”
“The McBride Gallery is a true treasure. The quality of any art venue is determined by the curatorial skills of its owner and staff. Over the many years that I have frequented the McBride Gallery, they have consistently featured a diverse selection of serious, high-quality works. McBride Gallery also features curated shows from regional and national associations that represent the best works in the media and content produced by those association's membership. For me, the McBride Gallery is a must stop anytime that I am downtown in Annapolis.”
