Disability and age discrimination. An elderly disabled relative went in to cash a pay check written on this bank (by a business client) for caregiver services. FNB bank refused to cash her check because she isn't a customer. She doesn't have a bank account to deposit it in easily accessible and was told to go to the bank it was written on by two other banks and FNB refused but was very malicious and discriminatory, so she cannot get paid for her hard work. There was a young man in his 20s working initially and he called over an older lady manager in her mid 50s at least. The lady demanded to know what the check was for and was told services. The lady demanded to know what kind of services. This question is inappropriate and potentially a HIPAA violation to disclose. As the young man was printing out a policy they were relying on when they refused to cash the check, the older lady snapped at him and threatened him "don't you dare give out our policies". So they refused to given a written explanation of the refusal and refused to give their names and contact information. We are complaining to the client / employer and bank regulators. They are making it harder for disabled, elderly and lower income or unbanked citizens.

Negative stars - The FNB branch on Best Gate Road in Annapolis Maryland is slow, ineffiicent, RUDE, Unprofessional staff from the tellers to the Customer Service representatives. I'mclosing my account after banking with the institution for over 19 years. First rule of sales and customer service, "Take care of your customers or someone else will."

Very rude staff and extremely unhelpful. Do not use this branch. The one in Severna Park is much better.

Horrible service. Kept charging fees after 4’visits to set up automatic withdrawals from another account in their branch.

I gave one star because I could not give none. The worst borrowing experience ever. As a customer of Annapolis Bank, I chose to stay when they were bought out by FNB. The customer service I just received is the worse ever. I even filed a complaint with corporate headquarters two months ago and I never received even a call. When I called in to check why, they said the complaint was never filed. A new complaint was filed and that was three weeks ago. Still no call. The loan officers in this bank

Literally THE LEAST PROFESSIONAL lending company & staff in the business. Do not, repeat, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, use FNB or any of its lenders in Annapolis for your mortgage. They’ll get you to your closing day, and then go on vacation, leaving you completely at a loss. FNB in Annapolis cost my husband and I our deposit & could potentially cause us to be HOMELESS the week before Christmas; with our 2 kids!!! They had OVER 2 weeks to obtain our VOM but never called us to conference with the former mortgage company to obtain the documents. If it weren’t for the seller, we’d be on the street.

Local guide Robby, who is miffed over the reviews....In a nutshell, Google Local Guides are "power users" for Google Reviews. Users who sign up and contribute to the program are rewarded with “Google Local Guide†status. They also get perks. Robby has reviewed 37 businesses and given them all five stars....he's either very easy to please or wants to advance to the next "guide' level and get another free movie.

I'm a tad perplexed by the other three reviews. I've been with this company since its predecessor went under. I've always been greeted promptly by every member within earshot as soon I walk in the lobby. The staff members have always exhibited unparalleled levels of professionalism and charm. Keep up the great work!

This branch has issues....the professionalism of the personnel, from tellers to the management is deplorable. Challenging attitudes, unprofessional attire, and a general sense that they hate their jobs. There's too many other options out there than to put up with people who visibly sigh when a customer walks in the door.

This is the worst bank to use for personal or business banking. The customer service is horrible. They aren't nationwide. When you speak to different customer service representatives they each have a different policy that the other is unaware of. You have to go into a branch in order to complete any transaction. There is a fee charged for any small transaction although you bank there. Every time you step into a branch they are trying to sell you on something. Most of the tellers do it speak English very well either so transactions take longer than they newd to due to language barriers. The way they ciphen money from their customers and attempt to sell products it makes the banks' financial health seem questionable to me.
