Great and fast service! My acoustic guitar bridge popped straight off and they repaired it within a week. That was two years ago, and since then I’ve had no problems with the bridge at all. I also had a strap button put in and it took an hour, with no damage to my guitar! This is my go-to place for guitar service.

Amazing vintage guitars and amps, sweet new high quality gear. Knowledgable and friendly staff. I stopped by to have some work done on a guitar because they have a luthier who does the work. I haven’t seen how that turned out yet, but I expect to be impressed.

I had a guitar repaired here. When I dropped off the guitar the guy I interacted with was nice and gave me a repair ticket and said they'd call me to let me know timeline. Unfortunately I never received a call to let me know when it would be finished. I had to call back twice over the course of two weeks to get the ball rolling. Turns out it took only an hour or two to complete the repair. When I went to pickup the guitar the guys were sitting behind the desk and looked as if I had bothered them when I arrived. I asked to pickup guitar and asked about a pedal price. The salesman didn't know it off hand and simply quoted me the full retail price. Most guitar shops both online and brick and mortar will offer a discount on items. This place had no interest in this. I think this is why brick and mortar shops don't do well against online retailers. Especially with customer service at places like Sweetwater where you really get knowledgeable and enthusiastic customer service. I think this could be a good learning opportunity for this place to strive to be better and more engaged with customers. I would have bought the pedal that day but the lack of interest and help convinced me not to. My experience is unique to me and those visits so I don't know how this place normally operates but for me I think I will not return.

First off, I am very particular about my guitars. I baby them and very hesitant about people working on them. I have had some disappointing results in the past (not from Garrett Park Guitars). So, long story short, I was able to recently acquire a guitar I sold almost 20 years ago. It holds an extreme amount of sentimental value to me. My parents purchased the guitar for me when I was in high school. My parents have passed on and I was able to get the guitar back in my hands last year. The guitar needed some new frets and a major tune-up to return to decent playable condition. Really hesitant to let someone work on it, I gave Garrett Park Guitars a try due to the ratings and vibe of the place. When I got my guitar back, I was blown away by the work accomplished. The replaced frets were done amazingly and the adjustments were spot on. Thank you Garrett Park Guitars for bringing back my treasured guitar to playable form and easing my mind. This guitar is in my possession now to stay. Highly recommend.

Garrett Park has many great teachers on staff plus a wide selection of instruments, accessories, and learning materials. I’m thrilled with my guitar lessons. It is also good to have their tech shop on site if I need a guitar repair or adjustment.

I've had repairs done on a couple of mandolins at Garrett Park Guitars. Taras did a great job on both. Restored what I thought was a basket case into a great sounding instrument. Top notch luthier!

I recently bought my first "real" guitar from GP, and the customer service was phenomenal. I told the employee, Jay, what my price range was and I was immediately shown two very good guitars. I highly recommend this location to any all looking to grab a new ax, or if you just want a welcoming environment buy gear at.

I purchased a vintage Rickenbacker 330 from an auction, which needed some repairs to it. The first few frets needed to be put in, the pickups changed to the original high gain ones, the nut to be reinstalled, and some other minor fixes. After being recommended by one of my coworkers, I took my guitar to Garrett Park Guitars. I was welcomed by the friendly and knowledgable staff right from the start. The luthier did a fantastic job assembling my guitar and the price for repairs was very reasonable in my opinion.Thank you Garrett Park Guitars for allowing me to finally have my dream guitar and making the process seamless! Keep up the good work!

My significant other and I came in for the first time (we live over an hour away) and we were seriously considering purchasing an amp and another guitar for our collection (I had also picked out a book to purchase). While we were checking out the gear that we were interested in, there was an older gentleman on staff that came in seemingly very annoyed and he approached us very confrontationally and told us to "keep it down." We were being careful and respectful with the gear, and the volume levels were not excessive either- we also were in a room far from other people. There are even signs in the shop that say "we want to hear you play." We were startled and confused particularly since this has never happened to is anytime we've gone to a shop to check out gear. Anyway, he closed the door to the room and we turned down the amps. He came in again after awhile and he barked at us saying "Are you going to buy anything or what?!" and then stormed off. It was completely unprofessional how he approached us. We immediately decided to leave. We did purchase the book and a pack of picks still, and the kid at the front desk was really nice. They missed out on business of larger price tag items today because of how that older staff member (or owner/teacher?) treated us, and we won't be returning. If you don't want people to play the instruments, then don't put signs up saying "we want to hear you play" and don't provide instrument cables to customers.

The staff is very friendly, but gave me "space" to try out many of their guitars, before choosing a beautiful Breedlove, which I bought at a great price, and they set up perfectly. I could not be happier with my experience!
