Folks at the pharmacy are always doing their best here. Doesn't mean there aren't issues, one of my meds is out of stock somewhat frequently, BUT! That's not their fault! They always communicate effectively with me, and are willing to work with me to make sure I get my medications as quickly and painlessly as possible.Good folks, doing good work, making sure we all get what we need

The self checkout machines at this store are frustratingly outdated. They don't scan well and constantly throw errors about weight being incorrect. Giant is a very outdated store in general and I recommend going elsewhere.

I filled out the lengthy covid booster form on line and scheduled an appointment with the Giant pharmacy in Bay Ridge. When I got there they said they never received my form and that I didn’t have an appointment scheduled. Well, I had the appointment on my phone so they couldn’t deny that but said they had to thaw out the vaccine. After waiting 30 minutes (and no one else was there waiting for the vaccine) I left. I won’t ever go there again. I got my other shots at Safeway with no problems!!

Very disappointing. Has all of the basic groceries. Plenty of free parking, but... Produce is often not very fresh. Staff are generally unhelpful, or not very pleasant. On 4 occasions, I caught them overcharging for items. This is the grocery closest to my home. When possible, I shop elsewhere.

Giant Food Bay Ridge Annapolis - Zero for customer service. On a recent shopping trip their credit card terminals were not functioning properly. As a result, I was charged three times for my order. I presented my bank statements to store management and requested credits. After a couple of days, I was told "there's nothing we can do. Call the number on the back of your credit card and ask them to reverse the charges." Why was I responsible for correcting their problems ? Only the veteran staff at this store provide any semblance of customer service. The newer staff is ill trained and ill mannered.

This Giant Food is very close to our daughter's home. We finally stopped in during our most recent visit with her. There were two frozen foods that weren't available at our local Giant and I wanted to check to see if this store had them. The seafood item we were looking for wasn't available here, but it's not one of the most familiar brands so that wasn't a surprise. But they had plenty of the other frozen item we were looking for, which made us happy. Our daughter picked up a few items too. The store seemed clean and well-stocked. The self-checkout line was somewhat long, probably because it was a holiday week-end, but we found a staffed register with no line. One negative of this store was our cashier acted like she would rather be almost anywhere else so no greeting, no smile. We were on our way to pick up carry-out so didn't have a lot of time to explore the store, but what we did see seemed nice.

I have been going to the Bay Ridge Giant for decades, as it's the only one between work and home. In general, it's OK and in the last few years has improved, but some things seem to remain consistent. Sadly, the meat mostly comes in already vac packed, so you usually get what they get. Frozen produce apparently doesn't come in often enough to keep it stocked. Regular produce and fruit has been fair. Just this morning I opened a container of strawberries I purchased last night at about 5:30 pm. Pre-mother's day breakfast component for brioche French toast. They were moldy anywhere they were touching each other. We have had rotting problems with Giant's produce across the board. Their distribution chain seems sorely lacking- or is it me? Organic, high dollar and it didn't even make it 18 hours? It's my fault- I should have gone to Sam's. I keep giving them a chance and am up to about Chance #158. I need to become more steadfast in my commitment to Sam's. Their meat is WAYYYY better as well.

Walked up for a covid booster shot. The line wasn't too long. Filled out a few quick forms and got my shot within 15 minutes of waiting. Fast and friendly service.
